Yep, the Pantone Color Institute has already chosen lofty, billowy white to be next year's color of the year. Called "Cloud Dancer," the Color of the Year for 2026 is said to serve as "a symbol of calming influence in a frenetic society rediscovering the value of measured consideration and quiet reflection."

"Pantone 11-4201 Cloud Dancer is a whisper of calm in a noisy world," Pantone said. Looking at the hue gives us the feeling of taking a moment to breathe. The color white is usually associated with peace, after all. It's similar to a blank canvas, which also allows other hues to stand out. This also means it's the most versatile and can blend perfectly with whatever color you want.
