(SPOT.ph) If you ask someone who owns an e-reader about its pros, it's probably best to sit down because it'll take a while. We're pretty sure one of the first things they'll point out is convenience and portability. After all, with the e-reader, you can bring not just one book, but over a thousand of them without having to bear the weight. There are many good options available in the market—Kindle, Kobo, and Onyx—each with its own selling points.
While e-readers are already light and thin as it is, there are some folks who want something even smaller. If you're looking for something more pocketable yet has the same features, you might want to check out this new, little e-reader, Xteink X4, which we've seen on our timelines the past couple of days.

Been seeing the XTEINK X4?

The Xteink X4, recently launched by a start-up in China, is this little e-reader that can hold your books for you anytime, so you can read anywhere. It's no bigger than your phone—like an index card, almost. The tiny Xteink X4 weighs only 74 grams, with a screen size of 4.3". Despite that, it can contain all your favorite stories and let you read them without fuss.
One of its highlight features is its MagSafe compatibility. Yep, you don't have to look for it inside your bag or carry it separately from your phone. You can snap it onto the back of your phone, which, let's be real, is always in your hand. If you ever get tired of or if you're avoiding doomscrolling, you can easily flip your phone over and read a book.

As e-readers go, it has a paper-like display that's gentle on the eyes, with a 220 PPi resolution. It also has physical buttons that allow you to easily flip a page as well as power it up and turn it off or go up and down pages. It supports TXT-slash-EPUB formats and has a storage of 32GB, so you don't have to worry about packing it with to-be-read books. According to reviews, it may take a little while to set up and personalize, but they have been constantly improving both the hardware and software through their system updates. There's also no frontlight, which might be an issue for those who read in bed (and makes it more similar to a physical book). You can customize your lockscreen, too.
For the battery, it is equipped with a 650mAh, and can be charged through USB-C.
The Xteink X4 can be found through their official website. It retails at $69.00 USD, not including the shipping fee and all that, which is approximately P4,075.21. You can check out its full details online if you're curious. There's also a community hub where you can check out full reviews as well as other resources before making that purchase.
