(SPOT.ph) Filipinos are sentimental beings. Keeping our old stuff, whether or not they're still of use, is more than just the act of storing them—we're also keeping the memories that come with it. If discarding them is out of the question, Common Room is giving you the chance to breathe new life into them through their Pabitin Party happening this weekend, where they will not just celebrate, but fix and rework your old favorites.

Common Room is throwing a party for your old favorites
"Yung shirt na may stain pero di mo matapon. Skirt na hand-me-down ni mama. Trusty bag na madami nang butas. Baby blanket na emotional support hanggang pagtanda, sila ang guest of honor sa party na ito!" Common Room said on their public invite through their socials. "Bring them. We'll celebrate them. We'll fix, rework, and give them another round!"
No gate-crashing since everyone and their old stuff are invited to the party, which will happen this weekend, April 25 and 26, at their bigger home in Spatio at Opus Mall. No need to RSVP!
You don't have to feel sad about letting your old fave pieces—shirts, pants, skirts, caps, bags, et cetera—collect dust somewhere in your wardrobe. Bring them out, get them some sun, and you can find ways to rework or repair them at the Craft Buffet at the venue, where tools, materials, and even good company are free of charge. Got unfinished projects? Want to work on something new? Maybe looking at the craft buffet will spark something in you.
There's a Pabitin Section where you can not just relieve the fun of trying to snatch goodies, but also get handmade charms and add-ons made by "Roomies" to refresh your old faves with. With the Craft Buffet, you can even make your own charm to hang on their pabitin installation on site. They'll also be serving free coffee, taho, and ice cream, but do come early to guarantee a taste!
