Northies, Look: The Disney Store Is Now Open in SM North Edsa

(SPOT.ph) SM North Edsa’s Disney Store is now open! Gone are the days when grabbing the cutest Disney plushies, trinkets, and whatnots meant a trip to their first-ever spot at the SM Mall of Asia. Starting this September, Northies can now have a taste of the Disney Magic right in their neck of the woods. 

SM North Edsa’s Disney Store opened today, September 6, on the 3rd Floor of The Block—and yes, magic was in the air. Let your inner Disney kid run wild at the massive store. Whether you're a Marvel or Star Wars fan, a Pixar stan or an OG Mickey and Friends and Princesses purist, the Disney Store has merch and memorabilia for you.

Remember that Disney plush you let go of at the last minute during your latest trip to Disneyland? Or that viral Disney merch all over TikTok? Well, now you can snag those sans a trip to the parks or international shipping fees when you buy online. While the Philippines already has its first-ever Disney Store (and Southeast Asia’s, no less) at MOA, we're glad there's now one for those up north who don't want to spend hours heading to Pasay for a taste of the Disney magic.

It's hard to tell which Disney Store is bigger, but just like its older sibling, this branch also has a variety of toys, collectibles, clothes, and accessories that'll make any Disney fan happy—and their wallet weep. Trust us, it was a bit overwhelming seeing all the merch upon entering, but once you catch your bearings (and make peace with your budget), going around the store is quite exciting. You’ll feel like a kid again spotting all your favorite characters on every kind of merch—think toys, collectibles, apparel, homeware, and more.

Whether you're a serious or casual merch hoarder—er, collector, a trip to this store is sure to add more things to your stash. We spotted some dolls from the Animators' collection, figurines from Disney Traditions, and even some Disney Funko Pops. There are also a lot of other collectible sets and blind boxes from Toy Story, Disney Princesses, and Marvel, perfect for collectors of all ages.

Young fashionistas will also have a blast playing dress up! There's a whole line of Disney Princess costumes and Disney character suits on sale, just in time for Halloween. But aside from costumes, there are also a variety of everyday clothes, including t-shirts, jackets, cardigans, sweatpants, and sweaters. For the adults in the room, we checked, yes, there are clothes for us too! Just ask the attendants for the largest size available anytime you see something you like, but that is sized for kids. It's not always guaranteed to come in adult sizes but you'll never know until you ask. 

With the addition of this new shop, we think SM North Edsa just got significantly more dangerous for our wallets.
