IKEA Is Bringing Their Home + Storage Solutions on a Ride Across the Metro

(SPOT.ph) It has been a few years since IKEA pieces started taking up space inside houses to make them feel like homes here in the Philippines, with home storage solutions being a top pick for Filipinos. Their humongous flagship store in Pasay has become a top destination for homeowners, but it can be out of reach for some, especially those outside Metro Manila. There's the more accessible online option, but we know nothing beats shopping for a forever home piece in person. IKEA is bringing its pieces closer to you, and to a lot of people, starting this month. How? Through its Home Furnishing Bus.

IKEA's home furnishing bus is here, and here's everything we know so far.
What exactly is the Home Furnishing Bus? It's IKEA's way of bringing its smart, flexible storage solutions to different parts of the country. It'll be a roving, immersive experience that will give everyone a chance to try out and see IKEA's pieces in person, wherever they may be across Metro Manila and select destinations in South Luzon.
Inside the bus are thoughtfully designed storage displays such as wardrobes, drawers, an office, and home storage. Just think of it as those motorhome buses that visitors can board to get design inspiration and even try out products in person. It's like having a piece of the IKEA showroom in select parts of the Metro, like in Cavite, Batangas, and Laguna. Just last weekend, we spotted the IKEA bus pulling up at Ayala Malls Nuvali.
There's no entrance fee for the bus, and there's no need to be an IKEA Family Member. Do take note that it's only an exhibit and not an actual store; you can still test out the items in person, get a feel of them before choosing what to buy, and then get them delivered to your doorstep through the website. Or, if you have the time to visit the flagship outpost.
For the exact location of the buses, you can keep your eyes peeled for updates on IKEA's social media accounts, but it's definitely hard to miss: the bus is decked in IKEA's signature bold blue color, after all.
