Japanese Luggage Brand ACE Opens First PH Store in This BGC Mall

ACE was founded in 1940 and has led innovations in Japanese bags and luggage, and by extension, the travel scene. In 1953, they developed the first nylon bags in the country. From 1960 to 2004, they partnered and produced suitcases and other lifestyle items for another giant in the luggage-making industry, the Shwayder Brothers (now, Samsonite).

Fast forward to now, they have set the standards in travel at all-time highs, with sub-brands that cater to each traveler's needs and wants. Prior to this store opening, ACE's offerings could be found and bought in The Travel Club and The Travel Club+ stores. Now, it has its own space in Mitsukoshi Mall, which is also a Japanese-inspired lifestyle mall that's been giving us a taste of what Japan has to offer since 2022.
