PSA: Marikina-Based Shoe Brand POSH Pocket Shoes Is Now at Spatio

(SPOT.ph) Marikina-based local shoe brand POSH Pocket Shoes started online in 2010. Around two years into the business, their shoes made their way into The Ramp Crossings, a multi-brand retailer in Glorietta, marking the first time they were available inside a mall. POSH also opened its own standalone store in Salcedo Village in 2015. The Ramp Crossings is long gone, and unfortunately, the Salcedo store closed due to the pandemic.

Fast forward to 2026, POSH and its lineup of minimalist, comfortable silhouettes can now be viewed and tried on in person again, in a physical, more permanent space on the second floor of Opus Mall, inside its lifestyle concept store Spatio.

Online shopping is convenient, sure, but visiting a store to see and try on the pieces? Now that's a whole new experience. Especially for shoes, you need to know what they actually look like on your feet and how they feel when you walk in them. You can now do that with POSH Pocket Shoes. For the first time in 11 years, POSH's shoes can be found inside a mall again, inside Shoe Avenue, tucked in a corner of Spatio, a proper stage for independent Marikina shoe brands such as POSH to shine.

For POSH, though, there's their workshop in Marikina—which you can also visit—but this new space is a more accessible spot where you can shop for their shoes and bring them home as soon as possible (and discover more names to add to your radar in the process).

We spotted a few of our favorite silhouettes in the space, like the understated New Day (P3,190) pair. It's a simple silhouette that's easy on the feet and the eyes. There's also the Gianna (P2,990), a Mary Jane flat with laces you can tie into a delicate bow that adds a bit of oomph to the pair. Their shoes all have signature double-padded insoles and are now made with real cowhide leather. Custom colors are also available.

More brands inside Shoe Avenue (yes, this is also an actual street in Marikina) include Alunsinag, Bida Loca, Bucroe, Charis, Hayo, Wumwum, and, of course, Zapateria. It's perfect when you've been eyeing these brands but want to be really sure how a style would look on your feet or how it fits. The one-stop shop for Marikina-made shoes include eight brands, and could include more in the future to join Spatio's growing number of local makers and designers.
