(SPOT.ph) If there's a phone that easily stands out from the usual brands (minus the hefty price tag, too)—it's Nothing. And no, we don't mean "not anything" at all, but the tech brand that boasts a lineup of devices that look like they jumped straight out of science-fiction movies. They recently launched the latest in their phone series and headphones and we got a closer look at them. Introducing the Nothing Phone (4a) Series and the Headphone (a).

The launch, held last March 27 at Whitespace Manila, saw the newest Phone 4(a) and Phone (4a) Pro as well as the Headphone (a). Tech enthusiasts gathered at the venue and took a step into the future—courtesy of the unique, transparent back designs that they're known for, showcased in a blinding fashion show.

Let's talk about the Nothing Phone (4a) first. In terms of design, there are notable differences compared to its predecessor, the Nothing 3(a). The back and camera design is different, with the (4a) having a Glyph Bar next to the camera that could indicate notifs or calls coming in without you having to turn the phone face up. There's also a new addition to the colorways for the new (4a), which is this cute, light pink hue.

The Nothing Phone (4a) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 4, which delivers a solid mid-range performance. It has a 6.78" flexible AMOLED with a 1224 x 2720 resolution, which is slightly bigger and brighter than the 3(a).

For the camera specs, you get a 50-megapixel main camera with up to 70x ultra zoom. There's a 32MP for your selfies.

The Nothing Phone (4a) is equipped with a 5,080mAh battery and supports 50W charging. It's IP64 Certified Tested for water and dust resistance. The colorways for the Nothing Phone (4a) are black, white, blue, and pink.

Next on the list is the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. There's so much to talk about it—it looks the most futuristic out of the two. Something Iron Man would definitely have in his arsenal. In terms of design, it has two bulging cameras in the back, bigger than the (3a) Pro, and has a neat blank lower half. Another thing to note is the Glyph mini-LED screen next to the cameras, which gives more room for customization and more advanced notifications and call alerts.

This model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with a 6.83" flexible AMOLED and 1260 x 2800 resolution. It's also said to be Nothing's thinnest phone to date at 7.95mm.

It also has 50MP for the main camera, and also claims a whopping 140x ultra zoom. On the other hand, the front camera has 32MP.

The Phone (4a) Pro is also equipped with a 5,080mAh battery, with a charging speed of 50W. It's also IP65 Certified Tested for water and dust resistance.

Nothing's headphones are as much of a head turner as its phone lineup. The Headphone (a) has the brand's signature transparent design, but with a block dome material that adds a pop of color and look to the device. It's available in four colorways: black, white, pink, and yellow.

When you've got headphones on, you feel like a main character in a movie; we get that. It will also sound like you're in one courtesy of the Headphones (a)'s Spatial Audio. Coming from a commute to a quiet office? The Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation will adjust to the noise and your environment.

Taking calls? The three ENC mics with Clear Voice tech will ensure you're clear when talking. You can also personalize your listening experience through the Nothing App.

The Headphone (a) boasts 135 hours of battery life, say, up to five days of power (that is, without the ANC)—that's like a lot of episodes and movies to watch in a full charge (full time up to two hours!). It has 1060mAh and can be charged with a Type-C charger. With ANC on? You can get up to 75 hours.
