(SPOT.ph) PUMA is definitely on a roll with their releases these days. Their major drops often involve a classic silhouette fused with the comfort and casual streetwear DNA that the brand is known for. Just a few days ago, they unveiled mules combined with their iconic Speedcat style, the Speedcat Mule, and before that, they dropped their ballet-sneaker hybrid, the Speedcat Ballet, which has taken closets by storm. It's not over yet; this time, the Mary Jane is taking the spotlight. Everyone, meet the PUMA Tacklette.

The beloved, delicate Mary Jane silhouette gets a cool, sporty update with the PUMA Tacklette.

The style, usually the accompaniment to school uniforms, is now dressed in the brand's signature look, and in a suede-leather mix. Inside, your feet can comfortably rest on a SoftFoam+ sockliner. In true Mary Jane fashion, the wide upper is split into two by a strap in the middle. If the style seemed more like a requirement back then, we know folks will be willingly adding the new pair to their sneaker rotations.

The standard Tacklette is available in two colorways; the first, the black and white one, doesn't really stray too far from the classic, and the second, a delicate, predominantly pink upper with white stripes. But if you go and check out JD Sports, two more versions sit on shelves: a black and mauve combination and a dark chocolate and white. It's a JD Sports exclusive, along with a cherry blossom charm that adds a nice, delicate touch to the shoe. Whatever you choose, just make sure that you're wearing the cutest, frilliest socks to match.
