Score Your Fave Artist's Past, Discontinued Work + More in This Art Market

(SPOT.ph) When it comes to your fave art and artists, you really have to get your hands on your picks lest they're gone for good. Every release, every art drop—you're there. Past, discontinued work, and heck, experiments are like rare gems. You'll find a trove full of treasure at the upcoming StickerCon art market. Called StickerCon: From the Archives, this special, one-day affair is a trip back in time for both artists and longtime fans of their work.

StickerCon: From the Archives will be taking place on April 18, Saturday, at Hall A of the Unilab Bayanihan Center in Pasig City, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be an entrance fee of P50.

Entering this special StickerCon art market is like stepping into a time machine. You can expect a wide range of artists throughout their creative history. No new collections or fresh merch here—you will be able to score past works and even tools that you haven't been able to get before. You will also be able to see and discover the evolution of your fave artist's art and creative mind.

Expect past works and early editions, retired or discontinued prints and merch, B-grades, test runs, and even rejected versions, one-offs, and limited pieces inside this market. But that's not all, you can even get creative tools, supplies, and studio extras, a.k.a items that are no longer used "due to excess, changes in process, upgrades, switching materials, et cetera," and even artist-owned apparel, books, and personal collections "that have been part of their studio or creative life."

"Old designs, early experiments, B-grade prints, little mistakes, retired merch, first ever prints, one-offs, discontinued collections, half-forgotten ideas, test pieces, extra supplies, and all the “I made this once and then moved on” work that’s been living a quiet life in drawers, folders, and storage boxes, now thoughtfully edited and brought back into circulation as part of your creative timeline," said StickerCon.

"This is a space for creative circulation, where past work is thoughtfully revisited and reintroduced, not simply cleared away," they added.

As of this writing, StickerCon is calling on all artists interested in participating in the market. Do take note that all items must be artist-owned and will come from your personal creative library. You can check out the form online.
