Team Manila Reimagines This Viral Tote With a Local Twist

(SPOT.ph) A viral tote bag from a certain grocery chain from the opposite side of the world has become a fashion symbol in other countries—the Philippines included. But ICYDK, we have our own reimagined version, with an all-too familiar Filipino twist from none other than Team Manila. Meet the Tondo Jojo's Tote.

Team Manila's Tondo Jojo (P695) is one of many bags that the brand has to offer, each of them more uniquely Filipino than the next. They have the streets of Manila celebrated in other merchandise, printed on tees, caps, and other items for Filipinos to proudly carry the culture in their day-to-day life.

This piece is the brand's Pinoy take on the popular carry-all. Function-wise, it's essentially a roomy bag that you can grab for your quick errand runs without thinking too much about it. You can fit most of what you'll need in this medium-sized, 19x16-inch tote

In terms of design, people would have to do a double-take to make sure that this is different from the one that seems to be on everyone's shoulder these days. They'll be wondering if they really saw "Tondo Jojo's" instead of the original one. On top of that, aside from some grocery finds, you'll see the usual things found at an inuman sesh: a bottle of alcohol, then a glass on the rocks, and some pulutan (with rice, because Pinoys aren't without our rice).

There's a front pocket for your receipts and a velcro closure to secure the rest of your items, plus you'll be able to carry it comfortably with the 28-inch straps.
