Vietnamese Fashion Brand COCOSIN Has Popped Up in Manila

(SPOT.ph) Parties and events are fun and all—until you realize you have nothing to wear. Well, you probably have something in your closet, but it might not completely match the vibe or aesthetic you're going for. Though the next major event could be weeks or months away, it pays to stock up on dresses and outfits you can wear for anything and everything so you're always ready to strut yout stuff. Don't know where to start the hunt? Vietnamese fashion brand COCOSIN just opened a pop-up in Makati City and their pieces deserve a spot in your wardrobe.

Founded in 2012, COCOSIN is a Vietnamese fashion brand that aims to deliver effortless elegance with a modern touch. They have a wide catalog of pieces, but they're most known for their chic dresses designed for meaningful moments—think important milestones, evening celebrations, and sun-soaked travels.

Ruching, figure-hugging silhouettes, and draping define their most popular pieces, promising comfort and versatility for every season. The feminine yet fun Amélie Polka Dot Satin Dress (P7,900) is available at the pop-up beside the Spaghetti Strap Maxi Dress (P6,470), another best-selling number available in a refined brown and a dreamy butter yellow. We had our eyes on the dresses, but there were also tops which start at P2,500, and longer pieces like maxi dresses going for up to P7,000 to around P8,000.

There's a dressing room with a mirror so you can try pieces on before committing to one (or several!). Do take note that there's only one, so if you're going with friends and family, you'll have to take turns or wait in a line. Pieces are available in Small, Medium, and Large.

The COCOSIN pop-up is on the second floor of Power Plant Mall and will be around until May. That's plenty of time to pass by, try dresses, and stock up on pieces for the major events in your life! Right now, digital and QR payments are available. They don't have debit and credit card payments yet, but we were told they're working on it and it should be available in the coming months.

Power Plant Mall is at Rockwell Drive, Cor. Estrella, Makati City and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.
