Heads Up: Disney Cruise Adventure Will Soon Stopover in Malaysia
From sailing schedules, prices and more, here's everything you need to know about the Disney Adventure's new offering.

(SPOT.ph) When the Disney Cruise Adventure first sailed from Singapore, it was billed as a non-stop cruise going around Singapore and international waters with no ports of call. But now, a few months after making its maiden voyage in March, Southeast Asia's first-ever Disney Cruise is making changes to the itinerary.
Heads up! The Disney Cruise Adventure is adding a stop in Langkawi, Malaysia, starting this December. If you're planning on hopping on your first Disney Cruise experience in 2027, consider availing this new offering from the Disney Cruise Line (DCL).
The Disney Adventure adds a new port of call in Langkawi, Malaysia
Starting December 31, the Disney Adventure will make its first-ever port of call in Southeast Asia at Langkawi, Malaysia, on select four-night sailings from Singapore. Guests aboard these sailings get the best of both worlds: unadulterated magical days at sea and a chance to explore one of Southeast Asia's UNESCO Global Geoparks.
Much like an ordinary sailing aboard the Disney Cruise Adventure, sailings to Langkawi will still depart from Singapore's Marina Bay Cruise Center. Guests will have two days to enjoy all the amenities, shows, and experiences aboard the Adventure as it makes its way to Langkawi. On day three, once it docks in the port, guests will then be able to explore Langkawi's 99-island archipelago, home to ancient rock formations, mangrove forests, waterfalls, sandy beaches, caves, and more. But if an outdoor excursion isn't your type of vacation, you can also shop-'til-you-drop in Langkawi's famously duty-free shops.
Just to be clear, you'll still get all the bells and whistles of a vacation aboard the Disney Adventure. All standard cruise inclusions, such as shows, dining, and amenities, are still included; you just get one extra adventure on your trip. But hey, if you're aboard a Langkawi sailing and suddenly decide you'd rather stay on the ship, that's fine too.
Here's the itinerary for a Disney Cruise Adventure with a stop at Langkawi, Malaysia
Guests have the option to explore Langkawi their own way, building their own adventure. Alternatively, they can also sign up for Port Adventures—DCL's curated itineraries and shore excursions. If you're not in the mood to plan a side trip during your Disney Cruise vacation, we recommend signing up for Port Adventures as soon as it's available on the website prior to your cruise date. Slots for certain activities or itineraries are limited, so if you wait too long, you might miss your chance.
While signing up for Port Adventures is a more convenient way to fill your day in Langkawi, convenience comes at a cost. Ready your wallets. Port Adventures are an added cost and are not part of the standard Disney Cruise Line package. Port Adventure prices depend on the activities available, and as of writing, Port Adventures are still under wraps for now.

Day at Sea
This is your chance to explore everything the Disney Adventure has to offer. From Broadway-caliber shows and character meet-and-greets to a theme park experience (complete with a rollercoaster) on board, this is the time to experience the amenities and facilities. Make sure to constantly check the Disney Cruise Line app for the full schedule of activities on board.
Langkawi, Malaysia
Touchdown Langkawi! You have one full day—from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.—to explore the archipelago's different sites. Whether that's through a Port Adventure or your own DIY itinerary filled with cable cars, island hopping, or shopping, just make sure to be back aboard in time, lest you risk getting left behind.
Day at Sea
This is your last chance to complete the full Disney Adventure experience. From Disney-themed dining to splashing it out on the water park aboard, this is the time to tick off DCL experiences from your list of must-tries before you leave this 208,000-gross-ton theme park in the sea.
Disembarkation
It's time to say goodbye (or sea you again) to the Disney Adventure. Disembarkation is done in batches and is quite orderly, based on our experience. Just make sure to follow the disembarkation schedule and batch assigned to you.
How much does a Disney Cruise Adventure to Langkawi, Malaysia cost
Interested in booking a Disney Adventure to Langkawi? You can now start booking for sailings bound for Langkawi on the Disney Cruise Line website for trips starting December 31, 2026, until May 31, 2027.
Fair warning: cruise fares for the Disney Adventure with a port of call in Langkawi, Malaysia tend to cost more than the standard Disney Cruise experience. While the standard four-night cruise fares start at USD 1,393 (P85,841) for two guests, the cruises bound for Malaysia start at USD 1,150 (P95,150). This roughly translates to P47,575 per head, which isn't bad, considering it already covers dining, entertainment, and accommodation options. Note that prices for the cruise vary depending on the stateroom and date.
