Mark Your Calendars: Big Bad Wolf Books Is Back in Manila

(SPOT.ph) Clear your schedules and make some room on your shelves—the world’s largest book sale is back! The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is making its highly anticipated return this November. 

We’ve got the lowdown to help you prep your book haul like a pro. Here’s what we know (so far) about the Big Bad Wolf's return to the Metro.

For the first time since its inception, Big Bad Wolf Books is headed to BGC. From November 5 to 15, BGC’s Park Triangle Mall is playing host to the massive book sale. In true Big Bad Wolf Fashion, the massive sale runs as early as 10 a.m. until midnight— yes, you can get your next read just as the rest of the world is about to fall asleep. 

As in previous runs, expect bestselling titles, with more than two million up for grabs. Whether you’re hunting down your next fantasy series, stocking up on children’s books, or finally getting your hands on that oldie-but-goodie on your TBR list, this literary feast is ready to devour your wallet—er, fill up your shelves soon. 

This year, Big Bad Wolf Books has partnered with UK purveyor Goldsboro Books. This UK retailer is known for carrying limited-edition and signed copies of bestsellers, so if you’re looking for a copy to honor your favorite author or add a special edition to your collection, this year’s Big Bad Wolf might be just the place to find it.

As always, entrance is free, and no prior registration is needed. Drop by in the morning, after work, or late into the night and get your next read at discounted prices.

Oh, and here’s some insider tip! A little birdie (or was it the wolf) told us that this year’s Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is just the start of giving night owl bookworms opportunities to shop late into the night. Big Bad Wolf Philippines partner Tim Yap let it slip that we might just get the country’s first 24 hour bookstore! We’re keeping our eyes peeled for more details on this soon. The famous personality (and apparently bibliophile) revealed he is looking into opening a bookshop for the night owl reader. Fingers crossed this becomes a reality soon. 

This is Big Bad Wolf's first stop for 2026. It’s unclear whether we'll see more of the wolf before the year ends. So, don’t risk the FOMO and head over to Park Triangle BGC this November.

Big Bad Wolf started in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2009. Since then, it has toured 15 countries and 37 cities, including Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. The company is currently working to expand its reach beyond Asia but has already held events in Tanzania, Kenya, and the United Arab Emirates.
