(SPOT.ph) The Metropolitan Theater, the Art Deco gem that it is, has offered free shows, film screenings, and tours since it reopened to the public in 2021. But if you haven’t yet explored its beautifully restored spaces, here’s your chance to experience what it’s like — or discover what lurks in its halls after dark.

For one night only, The Metropolitan Theater will be holding a free night tour for a limited number of guests. Whether you’ve never been to the theater before or simply want a different Met experience, the tour will be a night to remember.

Here’s what to expect.

What to expect from the free night tour at The Metropolitan Theater

The free guided night tour at The Metropolitan Theater in Manila is happening on October 25 at 7 p.m. and will take an hour to complete. The Metropolitan Theater is scant with details about what the guided night tour will cover, but that could just be them reserving the best bits on the tour itself. No spoilers here!

Still, if their teaser post is any indication, that eerie background music hints at a distinctly Halloween flavor for the tour. No surprise there, given the theater’s brushes with the horrors of war and destruction.

Also, since Met tours are typically offered during the day, an after-dark tour alone will be a unique (and spooky) experience. So if you haven’t explored the Met yet, this may be the tour you don’t want to miss.

How to join the Free Night Tour at The Metropolitan Theater

The free guided tour is open to the first 100 participants to sign up through their registration link. But if you don’t make the online registrant list, you still have a chance to join as a walk-in participant, depending on available slots by 7 p.m.

The Metropolitan Theater will open its doors 30 minutes before the tour starts, so arrive early to secure your slot or be the first to snag one as a walk-in participant.
