(SPOT.ph) Pickleball’s popularity has exploded in recent years, but if you haven’t joined the paddle-wielding crowd just yet, you’re not alone. For many, the biggest hurdle isn’t getting into the sport —it’s finding a proper place to play. Well, that might change pretty soon as Bridgetowne Estate welcomes Helios, the country's first tournament-grade pickleball facility designed for everyone from seasoned players to total beginners.

Here’s what we know so far about this major new development in Pasig.

Check out Helios, an upcoming tournament-grade pickleball center:

Helios is set to rise within Bridgetowne Estate as an eight-story sports hub—and soon, it could be the go-to spot for all things pickleball in the Metro.

Spread across six floors of sports and recreation facilities, Helios will house 25 professional-grade courts, a gym, a sports clinic, and food and beverage services for your post-game cooldown.

Once completed, the Helios Pickleball Center is slated to be a Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour venue, featuring a dedicated stadium specifically for major tournaments, in addition to its 25 courts.

This means anyone looking to watch high-energy international pickleball matches would only need to head to Pasig to be part of the thrill.

But before you start gathering your pickle-mates and making plans to play in Helios, you should know the construction only recently broke ground with completion targeted for 2027—still a long way to go, but hey, at least construction is already underway.

At the end of the day, Helios is for every pickle-afficionado, regardless of their level of play. When it opens, the center won't be limited to "members." Courts can be reserved by anyone through PodPlay, a digital booking platform that enables players to book sessions, join group games, and connect with other pickleball enthusiasts.
