This February 14, Renacimiento Manila is doing just that with SINGLES SUNSET WALK: Special Valentine’s Day Tour. Here’s what you need to know.

Blend scenic sunsets with old-world charm with Renacimiento Manila's unconventional singles mixer this Valentine's Day. For one afternoon, swap awkward small talk for meaningful stories about Manila as you walk through the capital with fellow singles in this one-day-only heritage tour about how love became part of specific places in the city.

From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., walk the storied streets of Manila from the First United Building along Calle Escolta up to the Pasig River Esplanade, taking in fun facts and trivia about how different forms of love made Manila what it is today. There will be stops at Jones Bridge, Plaza Mexico, Plaza Santo Tomas (Casa Tomasina), and the Manila Cathedral, featuring stories of weddings, courtship, and power couples along the way.

While there's really no way for them to check if you are actually single, this event was designed with uncoupled in mind. The event will also feature interactive, social activities designed for single participants seeking to meet a like-minded, culture-loving special someone. So if you're dreading spending Valentine's alone this year, you might as well go on this tour and learn a little history, which might lead you to an organic encounter, or at the very least, with interesting conversation starters for your next date.
