From massive premium training hubs to community-based neighborhood gyms, here are places to get started.
Published on Jun 17, 2026
(SPOT.ph) If there’s one sport that has undeniably dominated the Metro Manila fitness scene over the past year (aside from the growing pickleball craze), it is HYROX. This hybrid sport seamlessly combines running with functional workout stations such as SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmer’s carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. It's no wonder it's such a hit.
Even if you aren't a participant yourself (yet!), chances are your social media feeds have been filled with it. You've likely seen clips of celebrities, couples, and everyday fitness enthusiasts sprinting around a covered running track, grinding through grueling physical challenges like heavy sled pushes and wall balls, and proudly celebrating at the finish line with a brand-new record time or a finisher's medal.
It seems like an addictive sport, and fitness centers across the Metro have quickly stepped up to meet the massive demand—because every champion has to start from somewhere!
If your interest has been piqued, here are 10 places in Metro Manila to start your HYROX training journey.
