There are some places that are always worth another visit, and one of our 50 Great Restaurants of 2019 remains such a place, even all these years later. The menu may be a little different from when we first wrote about them, but Mijo Comfort Food has largely stayed true to the kind of cooking most of us couldn't be bothered to do, while tasting like home. And the only thing that could make that even better is a whopping discount—up to 50% off when you use your BPI Credit Card. Promo runs until December 13, so there's plenty of time to rally the troops and dine at an old favorite, family-style—as intended.

For more information, check out Mijo's Instagram.

ALTA: Halo-Halong Dako Challenge

We're probably mostly on the same page: few things spell "you've earned a quick getaway" like racking up your leaves for Q4. This deal's good for a group, and up in Tagaytay. Gather up the gang (up to five people) and finish this giant halo-halo (normally P588) from Euro-fusion hit ALTA in five minutes to get it free.

We're of the belief that some foods are best when shared—especially classics like pizza. And sharing has never been easier; for every Family or Big Family Pizza from Angel's, you get a second one free when you make the purchase with GCash (no Angel's Pizza Card required). This promo runs until November 15.

While it's odd to be all set for a warm Christmas, the physical meltdown is thankfully optional. Get a Couple Size J.COOL over at J.Co for just P210 and get two donuts (1 Glazzy + 1 donut of your choice) for free on the side. Take a friend, a loved one, or a special someone along to share the holiday-inspired sweetness.
