Advance Merry Christmas: Churreria La Lola Is Making a Sweet Comeback This 2025
The Bistro Group is bringing back everyone's favorite churro place.

(SPOT.ph) Many dining establishments did not survive the onslaught of the pandemic, but now that that chapter's (more or less) over, some familiar names are dusting themselves off and making a comeback. Case in point? Churreria La Lola—arguably one of the best spots for hot, crispy churros that was especially popular in the mid-2010s—is staging a return with a shiny new standalone branch in the South.

Spotted in the far, far south of Metro Manila—practically on the edge of the world if you’re a Northerner—is a shiny new board-up for Churreria La Lola at Evia Lifestyle Center, Las Piñas. Just in case you didn't know, Churreria La Lola is a homegrown brand of The Bistro Group known for its, well, churros, obviously.
As for when the Evia branch opens? No date yet. SPOT.ph did get in touch, and we were told that it's opening “very soon,” which could mean tomorrow, next month, or, you know, December, as an early Christmas gift? For now, it’s only planned for Evia—no word on more standalone branches.
But don't worry, you can get Churreria La Lola's famous churros (right now) in two The Bistro Group restaurants. Surprised?

TIL: You can actually get Churreria La Lola in two Spanish Restaurants
If you’ve been under the tragic impression that La Lola has disappeared entirely, and that you had to settle for some sub-par, overpriced churros in town, surprise! They’ve been hiding in plain sight—specifically inside The Bistro Group’s Spanish restos, Las Flores and Tomatito.
The Churreria La Lola at these restaurants is available as an add-on when you get their Let's Do Lunch (P595)—which is available daily, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at all Las Flores and Tomatito branches. The add-on, priced at P95, comes with the complete Churreria La Lola cone packaging. But you can also get it anytime—same recipe, but without the packaging.

Las Flores also offers the churros in a Dessert Platter (P635) which has the Churros con Chocolate, Tarta Chocolate, Tarta de Queso, and Bread Pudding. Photo from Facebook/Las Flores..
On the Las Flores menu, it goes by the menu item Churros con Chocolate (P225), which has churros, warm chocolate dip, and vanilla ice cream. It is a little different over at Tomatito—the Spanish restaurant menu has the Churros Dos Salsas (P195), which has the churros, chocolate sauce, and dulce de leche.

If you can't wait for Churreria La Lola's standalone branch opening at Evia Lifestyle Center, here are the Las Flores branches: One McKinley Place in Taguig City, Podium in Pasig City, Greenbelt 3 in Makati City, Festival Mall Alabang in Muntinlupa City, Uptown Ritz Residence in Taguig City, Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City, Okada Manila in Pasay City, S Maison Conrad Manila in Pasay City, and Hann Casino Resort in Pampanga; and for Tomatito: BGC Corporate Center in Taguig City, Estancia at Capitol Commons in Pasig City, and Robinson's Place Opus in Quezon City.
Churreria La Lola is the second homegrown The Bistro Group that's made a comeback in recent years. Krazy Garlik reopened last year, and this year, it's Churreria La Lola. If this is indicative of any pattern, what do you think the restaurant group will revive next?
