Good News: You Can Now Get the Famous Garrett Popcorn at This Supermarket
No need to fly to Singapore if you have an S&R Membership Shopping card!

(SPOT.ph) Have you ever been torn between two lovers... that is, between sweet and salty popcorn flavors when you're ordering snacks at the cinemas? Sometimes you'd end up ordering both, or mixing and matching salty popcorn with a different sweet snack.
This is one of the charms of Chicago's Garrett Popcorn, especially if you're the "I just ate something sweet, now I need something salty" type of snacker. More specifically, we're talking about the Garrett Mix (or the Chicago Mix), the brand's most famous flavor, which combines cheddar and caramel popcorn in one addictive pack.
The good news? You can finally get Garrett Popcorn in the Philippines. No Singapore flight required, no pasabuy needed.

In a more local context, Garrett Popcorn does not have any branches in the Philippines. And while we continue to manifest one into existence (come on, Garrett, we're ready), we're stuck with getting our Garrett fix from places like Singapore's Changi Airport. Thankfully, this is no longer the case because S&R Membership Shopping now carries Garrett Popcorn.

Luckily, that era of pasabuy desperation might finally be over. S&R Membership Shopping now carries the famous Garrett Mix—yes, the iconic cheddar-and-caramel combo—in 567-gram packs. A bag will cost P799, which feels like a lot… because it is. But for context: in Singapore, the tiniest size goes for SGD 6, about P267.
Is it pricey? Absolutely. But is it still cheaper than a round-trip ticket to Singapore just to satisfy your popcorn craving? Without a doubt. Just think of it as the cost of convenience, and of sparing your friend or family from having to squeeze yet another pasalubong request into their already overstuffed carry-on luggage.
