(SPOT.ph) Craving a real Korean chimaek experience without booking a flight? Daily Beer is here to answer that call. Daily Beer is one of South Korea’s leading chimaek (fried chicken + beer) restaurant chains, founded in Seoul in 2014 and known for pairing crispy Korean-style fried chicken with a diverse lineup of craft brews. After successful overseas locations like Singapore and Thailand, the brand has officially opened its first Philippine branch at Arcovia City in Pasig.

Daily Beer's first Philippine branch is now open

Daily Beer doesn’t just do chimaek—it commits to the bit. This Korean chain takes the nation’s sacred fried chicken–beer pairing and levels it up with a full-on craft beer program. Like any proper chimaek joint in South Korea, portions are unapologetically huge, clearly designed for sharing with your barkada or family, which shouldn't be a problem since their first Philippine branch is a 100-seater restaurant.

At the core of the menu are the four “Angry Birds”: Original; Red, tossed in a spicy red sauce; Black, glazed in sweet garlic soy sauce; and Crunch, coated in corn flakes with garlicky sweet-heat seasoning. Prices start at P550, with options for bone-in, boneless, wings with sticks, and half or whole servings.

The fried chicken in South Korea chimaek isn't typically served with rice, and it's the same at Daily Beer. So for your sides, you can choose between Spam Fries (P380), Original French Fries (P250), Kimchi Crunch French Fries (P250), Nacho Chips, red bean-filled Chewy Doughnuts (P250), Kimchi Crunch Cheese Balls (P250), and Cheese Balls (P220).

The rest of the menu has other Korean food. There's the Daily and Budae Tteokbokki (P585 and P685, respectively); Premium Fish Cake Soup (P585); Korean-Style Chicken and Greenlight Salads (P480 each) for balance; Boneless Chicken Bibim Noodles (P585); and Sausage and Friends (P685), featuring potato wedges and a fried egg.

And then there’s the beer. Daily Beer isn’t just a fried chicken chain—it’s serious when it comes to their somaek or beer. They have their signature Red Lager and a Ginseng Lager made with Korean wild yeast available on tap, plus Weizen, Pale Ale, IPA, and an option to Somaek Soju Bomb (beer + soju). If you're not into beer and want something lighter, you can go with a Lemon or Yuzu Highball, too.

Daily Beer was brought to the Philippines by Opulence Prime Ventures Inc., the same company that brought in another Asian dining concept, Mala King Premium Hotpot, in the same area, Arcovia City. The chimaek chain has plans to open more branches at SM Fairview and at Paseo Parview in Salcedo, Makati City, and then some more.
