You Can Soon Get Ijo Bakery's Croissants at Its First Metro Manila Branch

(SPOT.ph) One of the pangs of being a hardcore croissant fan is how, for the longest time, Ijo Bakery had no permanent shop in Metro Manila. If you wanted to get yourself covered in crumbs from its laminated-to-perfection viennoiserie, you'd have to go all the way to Batangas, swing by their Paseo Outlet spot in Laguna, or pray to the pastry gods that they'd schedule a Manila pop-up.

But like a Christmas miracle, Ijo Bakery is finally setting up its first branch within the Metro—right in Alabang. Sure, it’s still the South, but compared to a long road trip to Laguna and Batangas, this one’s practically next door—or just a Skyway trip away.

In an Instagram Story posted by Ijo Bakery (@ijobakeryph), they teased their board-up of their fourth branch opening at Molito Lifestyle Center. If you're from the South, you know this is the place to go for exciting food and drinks. The board-up hints at a May 2026 opening, but we checked with Ijo Bakery—they say there’s still no set date.

Ijo Bakery tells SPOT.ph that there are no plans for branch-exclusive pastries… yet. Emphasis on “yet.” You can either cling to that three-lettered hope or err on the side of caution, save yourself the emotional rollercoaster, and just let it be a pleasant surprise if they ever roll out Molito-exclusive treats.

As for hoping for a new Metro Manila location, preferably somewhere closer to the North, you'll need to put those dreams on hold. Ijo Bakery makes it clear: “Wala pa po.” No expansion plans within Metro Manila for now, as they are focusing on getting the Molito branch up and running first.
