Sip and Shop: blk Opens Their First Café in Parañaque

Maybe it involves shopping for your favorite blk products with your besties, swatching them together, and checking which shades suits each other—then refueling with a cup of coffee or matcha after hours of walking and shopping. Well, you won't have to go far for a sip of these if you're shopping at the new blk flagship store at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, because they also just opened their first in-store café there, aptly called blk Café.

blk is not stopping with incorporating new experiences (even ones that go beyond the visual realm) into their offerings. Just recently, they reentered the fragrance scene with their blk Scents. Alongside the launch of the fragrance line is the opening of their flagship store on the ground floor of Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Within the new store, you'll find blk Café.

The dedicated space for the café is just Instagrammable—perfect for your bestie pics. The counter and even the seats and tables are in this soft, pink hue, reminiscent of the brand's color. You can sip and yap to your heart's content (after shopping blk products, of course).

Every cup is brewed in partnership with none other than Yardstick—yes, that IYKYK place (cue the lore) that's well-loved for its cups of joe. The café uses its signature Switch blend, which has savory notes of roasted nuts and dark chocolate, balanced by a muscovado-like sweetness. Drinks start at P140—you have the usual selections of a classic Americano (P140 hot/cold) and Latte (P180 hot/cold), Breve Latte (P220, cold), and Sea Salt Latte (P220, cold). For more unconventional sips, try the Toasted Bsicoff Spanish Latte (P220, cold) or the Tiramisu Cream Cheese Latte (P240, cold). Everything's a treat.

If you need a stronger caffeine dose, you can get another shot of espresso for P30; getting oat milk costs an additional P40.

If you're more of a matcha girlie, blk Café also serves ceremonial-grade matcha. Take your pick from the Pure Matcha (P190 hot/cold), Sea Salt Matcha (P200, cold), and Butter Cookie Matcha Latte (P200, cold).

Last but not the least on the menu are their signature drinks—essentially juices and milk drinks, all inspired by the recently launched blk Scents. Go ahead and choose from Lazy Mornings (fig and grapefruit), Candied Kisses (apple and passionfruit), Al Fresco Summer (tangerine and lemon), Slow Dance (pear, watermelon, and sea salt cream), and Quiet Ember (jasmine and milk). The signature drinks are all priced at P150.
