Mark Your Calendars: The First-Ever Attack On Titan Orchestral Concert Is Coming to Manila

(SPOT.ph) It's widely regarded that Shingeki no Kyojin, a.k.a. Attack on Titan (AoT), is one of the greatest anime series of all time. Over its 10-year run, it racked up critical acclaim from both Japanese and Western media, cementing its god-tier status in pop culture.

And surprisingly (or not), nearly three years into post-AoT life, it's still as hot as ever. Merch is still flying off shelves, fans are still showing up as Levi Ackerman, Eren Yeager, or full-on Titans, and the franchise continues to find new ways to evolve beyond the screen—or the manga pages if you're an OG.

Case in point: we're getting a new official Attack on Titan concert. Dubbed Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis, this new concert is the first-ever officially licensed orchestral experience in the fandom, and yes, it's coming to Manila. Here's what you need to know.

Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis is the newest full-scale concert experience for AoT fans. It's coming to the Theatre at Solaire on August 28 to 29, 2027, and features brand-new symphonic arrangements of the anime's themes curated by the original composers, Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto.

Close your eyes, imagine the most tension-filled scenes in anime, and focus on the background music and how it heightens the drama and urgency of what's unfolding. Now, imagine all that performed live right in front of you by an ensemble of over 100 musicians and singers—that's what you're getting in this concert.

Not to be confused with the Attack on Titan: Beyond the Walls—a touring show known for its rock-orchestra format and faithful reproduction of the original score—this new concert features an "orchestra-first, concert hall-focused approach." This means we might expect some deviations from the original sound, but all in service of giving the music its own life, through a more symphonic interpretation.

In fact, Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis is so new that it will have its world premiere only on October 17, 2026, with two performances at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. This will be followed by an Asian premiere in Hong Kong on November 1 and an American premiere at New York's Carnegie Hall on January 10, 2027. After that, the production will then embark on a global tour spanning multiple continents.

Performances in Manila will be headlined by the Filharmonika Orchestra and the Philippine Madrigal Singers, accompanied by HD large-screen projections from the TV series, unleashing the series' full dramatic impact through a combination of visual and auditory cues. So yes, we're calling it. This concert is a must-watch.

Tickets to Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis will be available online through Ticketworld on May 26, 2026, at 12 p.m. Ticket prices start from P2,499 and can go as high as P7,499 depending on your ticketing tier.
