ONE PIECE Music Symphony is a symphonic tribute to Luffy and the Straw Hats' two-decade journey.

Catch the tear-jerking swells of Mother Sea to the upbeat tunes of Overtaken in this concert experience, which will bring both longtime and casual fans into an IRL emotional odyssey through the Grand Line. Expect over 60 musicians from the Filharmonika Orchestra, led by a guest conductor, to perform Tanaka’s original score in sync with key scenes from the anime.

Adapted for the stage with music and lyrics by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman, this RTYA production brings together all the colorful characters from Lewis Carroll’s cherished books, including the ever-curious Alice, the eccentric Mad Hatter, the frantic White Rabbit, and the domineering Queen of Hearts.

Alice in Wonderland will be headlined by Reese De La Vega Iso, Justine Narciso, and Cheska Quimno as Alice; Cara Barredo, Pinky Marquez, and Mayen Bustamante-Cadd as the Queen of Hearts; Hans Eckstein and Gerhard Krysstopher as the Mad Hatter, and Steven Hotchkiss and Gabo Tiongson as the White Rabbit. It will be co-directed by Cara Barredo and Repertory Philippines founder and artistic director, Joy Virata.

Four plays, four consecutive Sundays—united under a single theme. Now in its sixth season, the Company of Actors in Streamlined Theatre (CAST PH) returns with its annual staged readings, this year anchored on RE-ORIENT: Narratives from Asian Voices.

Across four weeks, the selected plays explore what it means to be Asian in an increasingly complex global landscape. Starring some of the country's best thespians like Dolly de Leon, Kakki Teodoro, Jenny Jamora, Jillian Ita-as, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante, Mayen Bustamante-Cadd, among others, expect sharp, thoughtful takes on cultural assimilation, love for country, unquestioning familial obedience, and the act of reclaiming Eastern narratives, all tackled with intelligence, humanity, and a lot of humor.

As is tradition, play titles will not be revealed, but here's the schedule of performers and writers in case you're looking to catch a particular artist at work:

Film Music Legends: The Scores of John Williams & Hans Zimmer is over 90 minutes of the most recognizable movie soundtracks performed live. This purely orchestral concert, performed by the Filharmonika Orchestra, conducted by Gerard Salonga, features selections from Zimmer and Williams' repertoire of hits like music from Jaws, Indiana Jones, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dune, Interstellar, and many more.

Adding to the musicality of the evening is Bituin Escalante. The "Stellar Diva" will be providing vocals for certain scores, particularly the ones from Dune and Gladiator.

People V. Dela Cruz is a satirical one-act play that asks what if the country had a jury system and what if justice was served through the court of public opinion? Watch six jurors live out the answer to these questions as they are locked in a room to decide the fate of one man, when legal deliberation becomes a circus of ego, politics, prayer, hunger, and possibly Wi-Fi withdrawal.

Les Misérables is back, not in its usual musical staging but as the Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular, happening at The Theatre at Solaire in from January 20 to February 15, 2026.

Unlike the usual full-production stagings, Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular is a hybrid production designed for larger venues and fitted with enhanced set and lighting designs similar to a concert experience. It still keeps the original story and music intact, just packaged with a bit of extra pomp and flair. 

This Les Mis World Tour—originally titled as Les Misérables: Arena Spectacular—reimagines and expands the Les Misérables: The Staged Concert by bringing with it a slew of over 100 international and Filipino talent, performing Boublil and Schönberg’s score and iconic songs, including I Dreamed a Dream, On My Own, One Day More, and more.

Rewind to the 80s, because the iconic Viva Films teen flick from 1984 is getting its own stage musical adaptation.

Bagets is about the lives and loves, families and friendships, adventures and misadventures of five young boys during their senior year in high school. There’s boy next door Adie, "overstaying" high schooler Tonton, geeky Gilbert, martial arts buff Toffee, and rich guy Arnel.

Working on Bagets are PETA stalwarts — director Maribel Legarda (Rak of Aegis, Care Divas), playwright Jmee Katanyag (Maria Clara at Ibarra), and musical director Vince Lim (Walang Aray). It stars two sets of rotating cast members featuring Noel Comia Jr. and Tomas Rodriguez as Gilbert, Milo Cruz and Migo Valid as Tonton, Ethan David and KD Estrada as Arnel, Jeff Moses and Sam Shoaf as Topee, and Mico Hendrix Chua and Andres Muhlach as Adie.

Quomodo Desolata Es? Isang Dalamhati is a reimagined take and return to the stage of Nick Joaquin’s Classic Play "A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino." This revisit was written by Jerry Respeto and Guelan Varela-Luarca, who also serves as the director.

Set in 1941 pre-World War II Intramuros, Quomodo Desolata Es? Isang Dalamhati follows sisters Paula and Candida Marasigan as they deal with the slow unraveling of their once-privileged lives. With their fortunes fading and their father, Don Lorenzo—a once-celebrated painter—retreating into isolation, the sisters are left to confront grief, change, and the looming shadow of war.

The show stars Gab Pangilinan as Paula Marasigan and Delphine Buencamino as Candida Marasigan, with Omar Uddin, Vino Mabato, John Sanchez, and Brian Sy.

Spring Awakening is a musical that explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood, set to an electrifying contemporary and alternative rock score.

Set in late 19th-century Germany, the musical follows a group of teens trying to make sense of their sexuality, the nature of desires, and all the other grunge of growing up. But at a time when conversations about the birds and the bees are all but taboo, finding the answers is easier said than done.

About Us But Not About Us is the stage adaptation of the award-winning 2023 Jun Robles Lana film of the same title. This intense psychological drama zeroes in on a tense, emotionally loaded lunch between Eric, a literature professor, and Lancelot, his student, months after the suicide of Eric’s partner, Marcus. What begins as a seemingly casual meet-up slowly unravels into a web of dark secrets and buried lies, revealing the complicated—and often painful—history between the three men. anthropology, a contemporary sci-fi, psychological thriller play that merges technology with the deep ache of family grief. The play centers on Merril, a brilliant AI programmer who refuses to accept the disappearance and death of her sister, Angie. Using her expertise, she recreates Angie using artificial intelligence—sound familiar? But what starts out as a simple coping mechanism turns into an obsession with a digital ghost of a dearly departed.

Barefoot Theatre Collaborative's anthropology stars an all-female cast led by Jenny Jamora as Merril and Maronne Cruz as her sister Angie. Joining them are Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante as Raquel, Merril’s ex-girlfriend and the voice of reason, and Jackie Lou Blanco as Brin, Merril and Angie’s estranged mother.

Ballet Manila brings to the stage an all-original choreography of Sleeping Beauty by none other than the Philippines' Prima Ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde. This staging brings to life a lush retelling of Princess Aurora’s story set to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s The Sleeping Beauty, Op. 66, which will be performed by the Manila Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Russian conductor, Maestro Alexander Vikulov.

A Chorus Line follows 17 performers as they endure an intense audition process for eight coveted spots in a Broadway chorus. The show depicts the raw and real trials and triumph of Broadway's unsung heroes, highlighting their stories of ambition, disappointment, and perseverance.

Originally staged in 1975, this musical is a classic in American theater. In 1976, it won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama— one of the very few musicals in history to ever do so — and swept the Tony Awards with wins for Best Musical, Best Book (James Kirkwood Jr. and Nicholas Dante), Best Original Score (Marvin Hamlisch and Edward Kleban), Best Direction (Michael Bennett), and Best Choreography (Michael Bennett and Bob Avian).

Originally staged in 2015, Mabining Mandirigma follows the life of Apolinario Mabini, the brains of the Philippine Revolution. This 2026 intimate staging stars Shaira Opsimar as Apolinario Mabini, Arman Ferrer and David Ezra as Emilio Aguinaldo, Tex Ordonez-De Leon as Dionisia, and MC Dela Cruz and Roby Malubay as Illustrados, together with the Tanghalang Pilipino Actors Company. REP Unplugged: Staged Readings Reimagined kicks off Repertory Philippines' 89th season with two beloved classic comedies. The Witcher in Concert: Experience the Music of the Continent is a special symphonic live concert featuring music and key scenes from the hit video game The Witcher 3, which follows the story of Geralt of Rivia as he embarks on a quest to find his adopted daughter Ciri, the Child of Destiny, before the Wild Hunt claims her power. It will be performed live by select musicians from the Filharmonika Orchestra alongside Percival Schuttenbach, the Polish folk metal band, and co-composers of the game’s acclaimed soundtrack.

ENDO is a straight play adaptation of the award-winning 2007 Cinemalaya film, all about the struggle between love, work, and impermanence.

Leo, a young man from a struggling family, never finished school and is forced to get by through a series of contractual jobs. In one of these gigs, he meets Tanya, a spirited woman who introduces him to love and new possibilities. As their relationship grows, Leo begins to long for stability and meaning—but he soon realizes he may not be ready for the kind of permanence that love requires.

ENDO stars Royce Cabrera as Leo and Jasmine Curtis-Smith as Tanya, and is directed by Melvin Lee, adapted for the stage by Liza Magtoto.

This April, the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) brings back its month-long theater showcase.

Control + Shift: Changing Narratives returns to the PETA Studio Theater from April 10 to 19, 2026, featuring a “StudioLab” of fresh works and restaged productions. This year’s lineup brings together PETA artists, students, and community partners, with two new pieces developed through the PETA Artist-Teacher Training alongside two returning works from last year’s festival.

As with previous editions, the festival is split into two sets:

Set A: When Power Falls into Our Hands explores how power, when abused, breeds violence, exploitation, and corruption. The lineup includes CLEANERS, directed by Julio Garcia and written by Jhudiel Clare Sosa, as well as a restaging of MONIT-OH! MONIT-AH!, written by Herlyn Alegre and directed by Norbs Portales.

Set B: When Care Becomes Survival, on the other hand, turns to communities shaped by conflict and precarity—where care is not abstract, but lived. Here, it takes form through faith, ritual, play, and the quiet resilience of collective endurance. Set B's lineup includes a restaging of AT NAGKATAWANG-TAO ANG VERBO by Tanghalang Bagong Sibol and BAGA NG GUMUGUHONG LANGIT written by Anj Heruela and directed by Ian Segarra.

Ballet Philippines closes its 56th season with an original full-length ballet entitled Paglalakbay: The Journey of the Sea People, running from April 10 to 12 at The Theatre at Solaire.

Choreographed by Ballet Philippines Artistic Director, Mikhail Martynnyuk, this production traces prehistoric maritime migration that reached the island of Batanes around 3000 BCE. It follows Ama, a visionary who answers the call of the sea to guide his people across vast and uncertain waters.

Miranda & Yolanda is a twin bill of Floy Quintos' Palanca-award-winning one-act plays Evening at the Opera and Ang Kalungkutan ng mga Reyna. It's directed by Dexter M. Santos and stars a mix of veteran and new-blood thespian talents, including Sharmaine Buencamino, Ana Abad Santos, Francis Makil-Ignacio, Topper Fabregas, Joshua Cabiladas, and Jules Dela Paz.

The two tragicomedies zoom in on the messy, often uncomfortable dance between people and power. Evening at the Opera peels back the polished façade of Miranda—the perfect trophy wife—her husband Bingo, and her mother, revealing the quiet manipulations and moral rot lurking behind refined manners and closed doors. Meanwhile, Ang Kalungkutan ng mga Reyna follows Yolanda, the country’s woman president, as she carefully curates a larger-than-life persona anchored on her looks—one meant to crown her as the queen she’s always believed herself to be.

Stardew Valley: Festival of Seasons is a one-night-only soundtrack concert at The Theatre at Solaire. This unique concert experience brings the cozy, relaxing charm of the beloved game to life through its music.

This global tour features the score and themes of the crowd-favorite game as performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra featuring Thanapol Setabrahmana, one of Thailand’s leading young conductors, at the helm.

Mari Dance brings back the highly acclaimed a day in a dance in a dance a contemporary dance production featuring works by multi-awarded choreographer JM Cabling and directed by Mikko Angeles.

Described as a contemporary dance production about people and their everyday lives, A DANCE IN A DAY IN A DANCE weaves together the collective experiences of dancers, choreographers, and the many individuals working behind the scenes of every production. Through movement, the show explores the quieter struggles artists often carry and asks, " Why do we continue fighting for our dreams despite the setbacks?"

From the team behind the hit play Ampalaya Monologues comes Dami Pang Gustong Sabihin, a romantic twin-bill production that explores the emotional weight of unspoken love through two intimate and deeply personal stories.

The first play is titled Tayo Sa Pagitan ng Mga Salita. Here, best friends and musical collaborators Alex and Drei race to finish a song ahead of a competition deadline, only for long-buried feelings to rise to the surface. Meanwhile, the second play centers on another couple, Arman and Drew, whose reunion after seven years forces them to confront emotions and questions they left unsaid.

Together, the two stories examine the ache of “almost relationships” and the unfinished silences that often define modern love.

Terrence McNally’s Tony Award-winning play Master Class is a fictionalized drama inspired by the real-life master classes conducted by legendary opera diva Maria Callas at the Juilliard School in the 1970s. Set during a series of public workshops, the play offers an intimate portrait of Callas at the height of her myth and legacy as she mentors a new generation of opera performers while revisiting the triumphs, heartbreaks, and sacrifices that shaped her celebrated career.

 Virgin Labfest XXI: Hubo’t Hubad takes over the Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez for a lineup of “untried, untested, and unstaged” one-act plays. In its 21st year, the festival takes on the theme Hubo’t Hubad, stripping storytelling down to its rawest form, exploring themes of adulthood, vulnerability, and the messy realities of the human experience. Divided into four sets, the festival features 12 “virgin” scripts by both emerging and returning playwrights, ranging from emotionally charged dramas to offbeat absurdist comedies.

Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 4—officially called Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 4: Oh Sh*t! It’s Live Sa Cheter!—brings its chaotic, sharp-witted commentary to the stage. It was written by Chris Martinez and will be directed by Maribel Legarda.

Its synopsis reads, "PETA unveils its newest satire, a theatrical adaptation of Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank, as a chaotic, hilarious meta-comedy about ego, art, and the messy reality of making Philippine theater today." Man of La Mancha is a Tony Award–winning musical that blends soaring songs with a big, idealistic heart. Set in a grim Spanish dungeon, the story follows author Cervantes, who fends off his fellow prisoners by spinning an epic tale—transforming himself into Don Quixote, a self-styled knight who chooses to see the world not as it is, but as it should be.

Directed by Nelsito Gomez and staged in partnership with the Manila Symphony Orchestra, the production promises a sweeping, theatrical reminder to keep dreaming, no matter how impossible it seems.

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in Concert, the franchise's fourth installment. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, we join Harry, Ron, and Hermione in one of the series’ most pivotal chapters—the one where Lord Voldemort returns to power.

Roald Dahl's inventive, fantastic, ooey-gooey world is coming to life on stage as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory makes its Manila debut.

This stage reimagining is based on the novel, which follows young Charlie Bucket's golden-ticket adventure into the mysterious and magical factory of the zany chocolatier Willy Wonka.

This musical features songs from the classic 1971 film, including Pure Imagination, The Candy Man, and I've Got a Golden Ticket, along with original music by Grammy and Tony Award winners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who are the folks behind the hit musical Hairspray.

Ilihan at Kalingaw: Ang Lihim na Istorya ng mga Buringkantada


Set in a mythical realm, Ilihan (Gab Pangilinan), the poet-historian of the Buringkantada tribe, is tasked with preserving the stories deemed worthy of remembrance. But when the elders discover her secret love poems for Kalingaw (Euden Moje), a man she’s forbidden to love, Ilihan must challenge the tribe’s ideas about love, history, and whose stories deserve to be remembered.

Summer and Smoke, a two-part, 13-scene play by Tennessee Williams, gets a Filipino reimagining in El Fuego del Alma. Led by playwright Eljay Castro Deldoc and directed by Porvenir artistic director Mark Mirando, this production follows Alma Ortega, a high-strung, unmarried minister’s daughter, and the spiritual romance that nearly blossoms between her and Juanito, a young doctor who grew up next door.

Nour Hooshmand, Hariette Mozelle, and Opaline Santos share the lead role of Alma Ortega, while Sandino Martin and Vincent Pajara alternate as her lover, Juanito. The production also features Madeleine Nicolas, Rolando Inocencio, Sheryll Ceasico, JP Lopez, Janna Cortes, Ingrid Joyce, Johnny Maglinao, and Tristan Bite.

Duncan Macmillan’s People, Places & Things gets a two-night staged reading courtesy of The Sandbox Collective. The play follows Emma, a struggling actress who enters rehab and is forced to confront the chaotic reality of her addiction.

The production also marks Bella Padilla’s theatrical debut, as she alternates with Philippine Arts, Film and Television Awards (PAFTA) 2026 Best Supporting Actress Gaby Padilla in the role of Emma.

They are joined by Jake Cuenca as Mark, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo as the Doctor, Therapist, and Mom, and Audie Gemora as Paul and Dad.

Guelan Varela-Luarca’s Mga Binago ng Araw takes audiences back to one barkada’s summer in 2005—not to romanticize the past, but to explore why certain memories stay with us and shape who we become.

Written as a play with music, the story follows Jomay, Nia, Ferdie, Rage, Jill, and Trisha, a group of teenagers navigating pop-punk bands, futsal games, Mortal Kombat, school summers, first loves, awkward silences, family wounds, and friendships that feel permanent when you’re young enough to believe they will last forever. Set against the textures of early-2000s youth culture—from CDs and magazines to mall rituals and afternoons spent at that one friend’s house—the play with music is a nostalgic love letter to growing up.

The production stars Jam Binay (Spring Awakening, Next to Normal), Zoë de Ocampo (Trophy Boys, Patintero sa Ayala Avenue), Vino Mabalot (Quomodo Desolata Es?, Next to Normal), Maliana Beran, Francesca Dela Cruz, and Rafael Jimenez.

The Playbook Club is bringing back its all-female production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, following its original staging in 2023.

The beloved Shakespearean romantic comedy follows four young lovers and a group of bumbling mechanicals who find themselves caught in the magical world of fairies in an enchanted forest. Expect mistaken identities, meddling fairies, and plenty of romantic chaos as the play explores love, illusion, and the unpredictable nature of desire.

The play features a mix of new and returning cast members, including Dippy Arceo as Puck/Philostrate, Nikki Bengzon as Oberon/Theseus, Barbara Jance as Peter Quince/Egeus, and Philomena Yap as Bottom, alongside newcomer Mijon Cortez as Titania/Hippolyta.

The Lovers include Giselle Giorgia as Lysander/Starveling the Tailor, Chez Cuenca as Helena/Snob the Joiner, Teia Contreras as Hermia/Flute the Bellows-Mender, and newcomer Leanne Mamonong as Demetrius/Snout the Tinker.

Infinite Cantina brings back BJ Crisostomo's original production, Saglit Lang, for a limited rerun this August, with acclaimed playwright, director, filmmaker, and educator Anton Juan at the helm.

The play follows a child fleeing a violent reality who finds refuge inside an abandoned theater. There, a mysterious Maestro introduces the child to the world of performance, revealing how theater can reflect life’s deepest wounds while offering a glimmer of hope.

It stars Crisostomo and Rico del Rosario alternating as the Child and Ron Capinding, who reprises his role as the Maestro.

The Philippine Ballet Theatre (PBT) is set to revive Andres KKK, a celebrated dance production centered on revolutionary hero Andres Bonifacio. Mathew Davo and Dominador Delmo will alternate in the title role, while Jessa Tangalin and Sophia Tiangco will portray Bonifacio’s wife, Gregoria de Jesus.

With a libretto by Lilia Quindoza Santiago and an original score by Jesse Lucas, Andres KKK is one of dance luminary Gener Caringal’s enduring masterpieces. It is also among PBT’s most widely toured productions and has become a rite of passage for its dancers. The revival hopes to cultivate nationalism, empower the common Filipino, and awaken the spirit of what it means to be a nation.
