(SPOT.ph) If Dashboard Confessional, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and My Chemical Romance weren’t enough of a throwback for your concert calendar, 2026 has another one lined up for the pop-punk crowd: Simple Plan is coming back to Manila, too.

The Canadian pop-punk band is bringing The Bigger Than You Think! Tour to the Araneta Coliseum on November 25, 2026. The show is part of the band's 25th anniversary celebration, with special guest LØLØ joining the Manila stop.

"We’re celebrating our 25th anniversary as a band so these shows will be very special. Our set lists will feature all our biggest songs from every era of our career, aton of fan favorites and songs we rarely get to play live. It’s gonna be a blast and we hope to see you all at the shows!” Simple Plan said in a post.

Safe to say, it’s a good year for anyone who never really grew out of their emo phase.

For longtime fans, this is another chance to hear the songs that raised a generation of overdramatic teenagers—“Perfect,” “Welcome to My Life,” “I’m Just a Kid,” and probably half the tracks you still know by heart even if you haven’t played them in years.

The Philippines has a long history with Simple Plan. The band first performed here in March 2005 with Avril Lavigne, returned in January 2012 at the Araneta Coliseum, and later came back to the Philippines in 2023, with stops in Manila and Davao.

Ticket prices have yet to be announced as of writing, so you still have time to prepare emotionally and financially. We’ll update this article as soon as we hear more, so be sure to bookmark this page!
