Sperry Makes Waves in Boracay Over Labor Day Weekend

DJ sets, paraw hunts, sunset hangs, and nonstop beachside energy pulled in the Boracay crowd.

If you found yourself anywhere near Boracay’s Station 2 over Labor Day Weekend, chances are you saw the Sperry booth. The brand staged a two-day beachfront takeover at the Love Boracay event that turned a stretch of White Beach into one of the busiest hangout spots on the island.

Beachgoers drifted between DJ sets, quickfire games, volleyball matches, and shoreline hangouts, with the Sperry booth becoming a natural stop for anyone making their way across the beach. One of the highlights? A roaming hunt for a fleet of Sperry-branded paraw cruising along, giving beachgoers another excuse to stay out under the sun a little longer.

Color games and memory challenges kept groups circling back throughout the day, while others posted up by the booth between swims and sunset sessions. A roster of the brand’s guests also spent the long weekend onboard the Sperry paraw, taking in the island from the water and against Boracay’s golden-hour backdrop.

Highlighted at the booth were Sperry’s summer footwear and accessories lineup of hats and bags, built for exactly this kind of weekend.

Women’s styles like the Sunfish Sandal and Seafish 2 leaned into easy coastal dressing, while men’s pairs like the Ventura Sandal and Drift Varsity Slides were made for beach hopping straight into late-night hangs.

Rounding out the assortment were Sperry’s selection of new 3D-embroidered “Makes Waves” caps and beach bags, tying the whole beachside look together.

By sunset, the crowd was still lingering by the shore, the music was still carrying across the beach, and Station 2 was still looking like the place everyone wanted to be.
