BPI Users, You Can Now Withdraw Cash for Free at These Supermarkets
No ATM card needed.

(SPOT.ph) Even in an era of e-wallets, cash is still king for many Filipinos. Signal drops, batteries die, and digital payments don’t always go through when they should. Good news for BPI users: the BPI has rolled out free cash withdrawals across Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI) stores.
Instead of searching for an ATM or waiting in line at the bank, BPI app users can now get cash straight from the cashier at select Robinsons supermarkets. The best part? You don’t even need your ATM card.
Here’s how it works: Log in to the BPI app, generate a barcode under “Partner Store Transactions,” and show it to the cashier. You can withdraw as little as P100 or as much as P10,000 in one go, up to five times a day.
Each transaction works like a regular withdrawal but without the fuss of finding an ATM. The barcode can even be shared with a family member or friend who needs to withdraw on your behalf. Unlike most ATMs that dispense only exact P100, P500, or P1,000 bills, the feature allows for exact amounts—say, P615—making it useful for people budgeting to the last peso.
BPI said all cashiers will undergo training for this new service.

Where to withdraw cash for free via BPI app
The service is currently available at over 370 RRHI stores nationwide—including Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, No Brand, The Marketplace, and Shopwise. It’s also expanding to Robinsons Department Store and Toys “R” Us soon, with nearly 500 participating branches expected by the end of the year.
According to Robinsons Supermarket Managing Director Tin Tueres, customers will soon be able to deposit money in-store as well—a feature currently in the works.
BPI President TG Limcaoco said the idea came from a simple observation: people already visit these stores regularly, so it only makes sense to let them bank while they shop. The rollout also comes just in time for the holiday rush, when demand for cash tends to spike.
