Heads Up, EV Drivers: You Can Get Free Charging From March 27 to 29

(SPOT.ph) Holy Week road trips are expensive enough without adding another charging bill to the mix—especially now that fuel prices have been hitting motorists with back-to-back increases this month. Luckily for electric vehicle (EV) drivers, they don’t have to deal with that—and this weekend, they don’t even have to pay to charge at all.

ACMobility is offering free charging nationwide from Friday, March 27 to Saturday, March 29. The promo is open to EV owners across brands, not just ACMobility’s own vehicle customers. There is no minimum spend and there is no charging cap per vehicle or per day during the promo. Compatible connectors vary by station, with Type 2, GBT, and CCS2 among those listed by the company.

Download Evro on iOS or Android if you haven’t already yet. Open the app to check if a slot is available, scan the QR code on-site, confirm that the rate shows P0.00, plug in, and start the session through the app. That's it!

In return, all ACMobility asks of you is to stop charging at 80% charge, since charging slows beyond that point and keeping cars plugged in longer can hold up the queue for everyone else.

ACMobility has 226 charge points in 96 locations as of mid-2025, with more sites still in the pipeline. Its own published station lists show hubs across the Philippines, including Makati, Bonifacio Global City, Quezon City, Alabang, Pampanga, Baguio, Nuvali, Vermosa, Tagaytay, Cebu, and Davao.
