You Can Trade In Preloved Luggage + Bags for Discounts at The Travel Club

(SPOT.ph) Got an old piece of luggage just collecting dust somewhere in your storage room? How about bags you've never used for so long? Is your current suitcase looking a little bit worn? If you've been wanting to dispose of or replace them but don't know where and how to start, here's an idea: go and exchange them for discounts at The Travel Club. Summer is here and travel plans are in order. If your current luggage is in dire need of a replacement, you might be able to score discounts of 20% to up to a whopping 50% off on a new one—their featured collections, no less—at select The Travel Club branches nationwide.

The trade-in sale will run from March 12 to 16 and will be held at The Travel Club+ Shangri-La Plaza, The Travel Club+ Ayala Malls TriNoma for those in Metro Manila, and The Travel Club Ilo-Ilo and The Travel Club Gensan for those outside the metro.

Do take note that there are a few requirements for it to be eligible for trade, though they accept any brand of luggage and bags—be it four-wheel or two-wheel luggage or messenger bags, shoulder bags, duffle bags, backpack, or even business cases and laptop cases. And yes, they still need to be in useful and working condition, as they're going to be donated, for you to exchange them.

Here's a checklist you should note before you head out of that door with your luggage or bags in tow:

• Missing and broken handles

• Sticky or damaged trolley handle

• Missing wheel rubbers (but not the wheels)

• Missing logo

• Dented hard case

• Missing or broken corner guard

• Missing studs

Not accepted

• Broken, missing or stuck-up trolley system

• Missing wheels

• Cracked or broken hard case

• Broken rubber protectors or hinges

• Damaged zipper coils

• Damaged zipper slider

• Missing or defective locks

• Grocery trolleys
  

For the bags, they won't accept broken or slashed straps, damaged zipper coils, or damaged zipper sliders. They won't accept exo bags or tote bags as well.

The discounts will follow a one-to-one basis. One luggage for a discount on one luggage, and so on. If you want to purchase luggage for a traded bag, they state that the offer will be less 10% off on the featured item's discount. If you traded in a luggage item and want a bag, you'll still get a full discount.

You can trade in your preloved luggage and bags for discounts from March 12 to 16 at The Travel Club+ Shangri-la Plaza, The Travel Club+ Ayala Malls Trinoma, The Travel Club Ilo-Ilo, and The Travel Club Gensan. The Travel Club has stores nationwide.
