LOOK: Ana Tomy Opens First Permanent Store, Here's Everything New Inside

(SPOT.ph) It was in December last year that stationery and lifestyle brand Ana Tomy made a home in SM Aura, albeit in the form of a pop-up. It's also said to be running until early this year only, but it always gets extended (and we cheer!)—and it's open up until now. Ana Tomy has also popped up in spots around the Metro, and now they have their first-ever in-line, permanent store smack dab in the heart of it.

Aside from the first pop-up in SM Aura, Ana Tomy also has another store you could visit in Power Plant Mall, Rockwell. The Philippines is actually the first country that the brand ventured into since its inception in 2017, and now, almost a year after setting foot on our shores, they have their first in-line store, located in SM Megamall.

The store is quaint, located on the second floor of Mega A, in SM Megamall. Albeit a bit small, the inside is bursting with life, with colors and designs found on their journals and bags. And, of course, you'll be able to get the same full experience of piecing together your unique notebooks or their Ana Tomy City Bags.

For the uninitiated, Ana Tomy lets you experience the joy of customizing your stationery, which makes it more personal and intentional. And since it's unique to you, you won't really find another one of yours anywhere. Every detail is customizable, from the cover (they have plain ones as well as collaborations with local artists!), color, page, and layout, down to the elastic band that binds the journal together. You can also choose the format of the pages inside it, after all, which makes it perfect for everybody, whether you're an avid journal girlie or someone who just wants to keep their ducks in a row.

We spotted new additions, a.k.a more fun things to mix-and-match, inside the SM Megamall outpost when we visited. One of which is the woven charms. The Ana Tomy Woven Charm (P750) has rings and paracords in various shades. There are five woven designs, and you can get three letters printed on them. It can be your initials, or anything that says that it's just yours.

You can hang it on your bags, pouches, and even on your Ana Tomy journal. The bookmark has a small hole dedicated to these charms. The Ana Tomy Woven Charm is only available in SM Megamall and SM Aura.

Speaking of the notebooks, Ana Tomy has micro-versions of them in various designs called the Ana Tomy Micro Notebook Charm (P850). It also works as a cute charm, which you can hang alongside your woven ones. But these charms are as functional as they are stylish, because you can jot down your big ideas in an instant. The pages are plain, so you can write whatever as soon as you get an idea. It also comes with a bookmark and marker. They're perfect gifts for the writers and creatives in your life. The Micro Notebook Charm is available in all stores.

Another new thing about Ana Tomy is the customizable wirebounds. The Wirebound 2.0 can be opened now, which allows its users to add, remove, or rearrange pages however they like. It has five loops on the top and bottom, with a gap in the middle that also makes it easier for writers to glide across the page.

We're putting the spotlight now on Ana Tomy's City Bag, which you can mix and match, too. The Mix & Match City Bag starts at P4,200. You get the base, straps, and pockets up for customization.

The base already includes a Full Bag, Strap, Stress Pillow, and Pocket in one shade that you like. The mix and match starts with the add-on strap and pocket (which are included in this package) that are in different hues. There are ten various shades, from neutral ones to pops of color. The City Bag is perfect for your quick errands and trips: it's water-repellent, has easy-access pockets, a slouchy shape, spacious interiors, adjustable straps, and handles.

Ana Tomy also has big totes like the Ana Tomy Book Tote and Library Tote. You should also watch out for more collaborations and cute things coming soon at Ana Tomy's stores. Online, we saw Ana Tomy's Peanuts collection featuring everyone's favorite beagle, Snoopy. You might have already seen the City Bag featuring Snoopy's design, too!

But that's not all. There's a little treat for those visiting the SM Megamall outpost: Starting today, October 1 to 7, customers who spend a minimum purchase of P1,500 will also receive Ana Tomy's limited-edition charms.

Ana Tomy's in-line store is located on the second level, Bridgeway, SM Megamall, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong. They also have pop-ups on the third level of SM Aura Premier, 26th Street Corner, McKinley Parkway, Taguig, and on the R3 Bridgeway of Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Drive, Makati. Ana Tomy also has an online store via their website, where you can also customize your journals if you don't have enough time to swing by.
