This Super 8-Inspired Video Camera Is Now Less than P13,000

(SPOT.ph) The memories to be captured are one thing, but there's also magic in how and what you use to capture said moments, making them all the more special and nostalgic. There's a new digital video camera that documents life's milestones with a touch of nostalgia: Camp Snap's CS-8.

The CS-8 is inspired by none other than the iconic Super 8 film camera and is reimagined for the new decade. It has the same build, with a handle for a better, more comfortable filming experience. It's the best of both worlds: the classic analog look and feel with modern features.

This digital camera has no playback screen or instant previews, so the results of the shooting will always be a surprise. It's part of the charm. But you do have the option to choose how you want them to look: faded sepia, grainy analog, washed retro tones, black and white, and the standard film effect. You can also adjust the aspect ratio, which you can control via dials on the side.

This camera has a built-in speaker, as well as an analog meter, where you can keep tabs on battery and storage. According to the JG Superstore site, it already includes a 4GB SD card, though you can always swap in your own card for more storage. For charging and easier transferring of files, the CS-8 is also equipped with a USB-C cord.

We spotted the Camp Snap CS-8 on JG Superstore's website. It retails at P17,549, but online, it's at a discounted price of P12,999. JG Superstore is also available online through their Shopee and Lazada pages.
