SPOTTED: First Nintendo Authorized Store Board-Up in This Makati Mall

(SPOT.ph) Nintendo fans, no need to go down bottomless pits, get crushed by a Thwomp, or get eaten by piranha plants for your next Nintendo game, because there's now a much nearer save point that's opening here in the Metro next month. Yep, we're talking about the first-ever Nintendo Authorized Store in the Philippines, spotted in SM Makati. Let's a-go!

While Nintendo is already available through online sites via Shopee and Lazada, nothing beats having to shop for the goods in person and bringing them home ASAP. If you've been thinking about getting the new Nintendo Switch 2 and other recent, trending games right now, like Pokopia and even Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, among others, you might want to wait for the store to open before you get it.

Mario himself will be saying hi to you as you pass by the huge board-up. It's an image you can hear ("It's me, Mario!"). The store is located on the second floor of SM Makati, and is covered in Nintendo's signature red color. SM Makati on their post said that the store will be opening this May. Yep, you read that right—you won't have to wait too long to see it open its doors.

We're already expecting to find Nintendo's hardware and systems, a full range of their games, and accessories for Switches in this outpost, but we're crossing our fingers that this is also where we can score official Nintendo merchandise and a whole lot more. So far, there are no other details yet, but we'll keep an eye out for you.
