South Korean Perfume Brand Born To Stand Out Opens First PH Store

(SPOT.ph) What does it take to stand out? We say being your most unapologetic self is the way to go. But if we're talking about a more concrete, literal way: sometimes all you need is to smell nice. A whiff of a good scent can make everyone turn their heads to look at you. South Korean perfume brand Born To Stand Out can gives you freedom to be your authentic self through its scents, and you can now find their bottles here in the Philippines. They recently opened a boutique in Glorietta, and here's what we know about it so far.

Born To Stand Out is true to its name. The newly opened boutique captivates in every sense—with its signature bold, eye-catching red interiors and great-smelling scents bottled up in equally striking packaging. The bottles, dressed in white, stand out from the rest of the red background.

The South Korean perfume brand, which was established in 2022, is anchored in the freedom of self-expression, non-conformity, and "rebelling against the standards."

The store is located on the first level of Glorietta 4, and inside is its selection of eau de parfums whose scents and unique packaging are not the only things making you do a double take; rather, their product names, too. Take, for example, the DGAF. It will welcome you with bergamot, citrus, sage, and violet before settling down with warm sandalwood, incense, a kick of pepper, and then Bulgarian rose. The base notes have amber, tonka bean, black balm, cashmeran, and musk.

Based on their website, Born To Stand Out also has collections like Extrait Extrême, which features bottles with 55-62% fragrance concentration and aged for three months in Onggi, which is a traditional Korean pottery, making them "deeper, smoother, and more intense." There's also the Eau Intimité, a.k.a their more minimalist, second-skin fragrance lineup. Their catalog also has hand and body creams, hand and body wash sets, as well as room fragrances.
