Starbucks' New Drinkware Bring in Fresh, Fruity Summer Vibes to Your Days

(SPOT.ph) We can't help it. When it's summer, we crave the cool breeze and light drizzle the rainy season brings. Now that it's greyer and gloomier outside, we chase the sunny days. There's still a bit of bright summer in the midst of this unpredictable weather, but you won't find it in the skies this time—you'll find it in drinkware. Make every sip as fun and fresh as summer with Starbucks' Taste Like Summer collection.

Starbucks just dropped two collections, both with the same intention: to remind you of your sun-soaked days. Think lounging by the beach, toes buried in the sand, and just being surrounded by nature or, in this case, floating around the pool in a flamingo floatie while sipping fruit shakes with friends.

Tropical Whimsy is more mellow with warm earth hues, while Taste Like Summer boasts of the cutest designs in pops of colors that will definitely liven up gloomy mornings. Both are now available in their stores, as well as on their official Lazada page. Tropical Whimsy's pieces are chic, but we just can't get over the Taste Like Summer line.

Any piece that can instantly lift moods with a bright and popping design is good in our book. The Taste of Summer collection is a ray of sunshine in the middle of a work day, at home, and even during errands. It has whimsical, strawberry mugs and picnic-esque designs featuring flamingos and fruits. Here are our favorite drinkware pieces in the collection.

First on the list is the Starbucks 12oz Strawberry Mug (P1,495). It's the fun piece we know will always be pulled from the shelf for both hot and cold beverages. The mug looks and is shaped like a big, seedless strawberry, with the Siren logo in the middle. The body of the mug is, of course, strawberry red, while the lid is this leafy green "cap," or the calyx, on top of it, including the stem, which also looks like a straw. It's already out of stock on the Lazada page, but you can always check out the nearest Starbucks. Fingers crossed they have it in stock!

The Starbucks 16oz Tastes Like Summer Fruits Cold Cup (P1,175) reminds us of a fun picnic with friends, with the bright yellow stripe pattern in the middle of the transparent glass body; over it are fresh summer fruits, like the strawberry, blueberry, lemon, and small grapes. You can also spot pink flamingos kissing above the fruits!

The cold cup, meant for your favorite cold drinks, is equipped with a pastel blue straw and a strawberry straw cover.

Flamingos and slices of watermelon adorn a soft, pastel yellow steel tumbler in the Starbucks 32oz Tastes Like Summer Watermelon Flamingo Stainless Steel Tumbler (P2,795). It's a cute tumbler that will definitely remind you not just of summer, but also to drink your water. It has a red handle for easy carrying.
