(SPOT.ph) Looks like travel essentials brand BASH* is committed to accompanying every traveler wherever they want to go. From long-haul flights and overnight trips, the brand is aiming to be a go-to for commutes and life's daily escapades. Yep, BASH is going beyond luggage for the first time. Think weekday backpacks and totes that are as functional as they are stylish—the BASH* way. And oh, you might be able to bring them home ASAP, because they'll also be showcased at a pop-up in SM Mall of Asia.
BASH drops new collection with backpacks, totes.
Called Aftergloss, the new collection draws inspiration from cinematic desert worlds. It houses BASH's first-ever tote bag and backpack—the Weekday Backpack and Weekday Tote—with their signature Gateway Luggage in a high-gloss finish. The pieces are decked in sandy, brown, and black hues.
We're starting with the Weekday Backpack (P2,495), which looks like your next fave everyday bag. It can be an all-around carrier for those times you have a class or work in the morning and a flight in the afternoon. It not only has multiple compartments and hidden pockets—as well as a separate padded laptop compartment (capable of fitting a 16-inch laptop) and bottle-slash-umbrella holders—but it also features a convertible trolley sleeve that zips into a pocket when not in use.
And we know we're well into the rainy season, so this backpack being made with water-resistant nylon is a huge plus.

Hands-free commute is possible and made easier with the Weekday Backpack (P2,495). It has everything you'll need for an all-rounder bag. This is available in three cool colorways: Dune (sandy beige), Terra (rich brown), and Carbon (deep black)..

We all know how you love your totes. If you want the charm of having a tote bag but with the functionality and, of course, (a lot of) pockets—then this Weekday Tote is for you. It's available in Dune (sandy beige), Terra (rich brown), and Carbon (deep black)..
If you're not into backpacks, but want all the same features, BASH also has the Weekday Tote (P2,295). It has a convertible trolley sleeve that turns into a pocket, multiple smart compartments (including the padded laptop slot that can fit a standard 15-inch laptop), and is also made of water-resistant nylon. One of the striking features of this tote is a discreet, quick-grab phone pocket on the exterior. Rather than having it slung on both your shoulders, the tote gives more of a stylish, casual look.

But, of course, BASH's signature Gateway Luggage also gets a glossy makeover for the Aftergloss collection. The smallest is the Carry-On Luggage (P7,995), then to Medium (P8,995), Trunk (P9,995), and lastly, Large (P9,995). The luggage is made of Polycarbonate material..
In this collection is a new, high-gloss finish colorway of the Gateway Luggage. For the uninitiated, it's BASH's signature luggage that opens from the top (for easy packing and access) and has an expandable interior for your organization (and more pasalubongs). Its hard shell build, plus the rich gloss effect, gives it a sleeker look for your long-haul travels. You can buy it in a set of three (carry on, medium, and large) at P21,995. The Gateway Luggage starts at P7,995.
"Our community showed us that travel isn't just about big trips anymore. It’s also the everyday journeys—commutes, errands, quick escapes," said co-founder Bea Alonzo. "With Aftergloss, BASH is evolving with them." BASH, launched in 2023, was co-founded by Bea Alonzo, alongside Bea and Brina Secosana. They have fashion-forward and functional pieces for the modern and everyday traveler.

And hear 'ye, hear 'ye: BASH has finally debuted its own website, where customers can seamlessly view and buy BASH's products. It has everything that BASH has to offer, from their best-selling travel cubes and pouches, to other essentials, all in one place. You can also view the Aftergloss collection on the site.
But if you prefer to view the Aftergloss collection firsthand and try it out first before making the purchase, you can drop by their physical pop-up on the Main Mall Atrium of the SM Mall of Asia. It's a multi-sensory space featuring the Aftergloss collection on full display from September 18 to 21.
You can even get P1,000 off on your luggage purchase, or an exclusive gift if you go past P3,500 on a single receipt. Following the pop-up, the collection will roll out on their Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok stores. You can view more details online.

BASH is available online through their new website, but also on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. The Aftergloss physical pop-up will be located in the Main Mall Atrium, SM Mall of Asia, Seaside Boulevard, Pasay, and will run from September 18 to 21.
