Heads Up: A Lounge in NAIA Terminal 3 Is Now Open 24/7

(SPOT.ph) Frequent travelers are no strangers to long airport waits, especially for early morning departures and late-night flights. That’s where airport lounges come in handy, offering passengers a comfortable space to dine, recharge, freshen up, and relax before boarding.
This July, international travelers departing from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 will have access to A Lounge around the clock. If you have an upcoming flight and are considering ways to make your wait more comfortable, here’s what you need to know.
Introducing, A Lounge in NAIA Terminal 3
A Lounge is a pay-per-use traveler's lounge located in both Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. In previous years, lounge access for both spots was limited from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., leaving those with red-eye flights with fewer options on where to stay and wait for their flights. But starting this July, A Lounge at NAIA Terminal 3 is extending its hours and is now accepting international-bound passengers 24/7.
Members of eligible partner programs, including Priority Pass and DragonPass, can enjoy complimentary access to the lounge. As of writing, only select Security Bank credit cards offer free lounge access, while Bank of Commerce Mastercard cardholders are entitled to a 58% discount on the admission fee. Travelers without eligible memberships or cards can also access A Lounge by paying the walk-in rate of USD 40 or P2,400. Children aged four and below are admitted free of charge. Do note that guests may stay in the lounge for a maximum of three hours.
Facilities in A Lounge
A stay at A Lounge gets you more than just a plush seat and a climate-controlled space to wait out the hours before your flight. Guests can also dig into a selection of food, plus alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages—including hot meals—while they wait. There’s a TV if you’re looking to unwind, while those squeezing in last-minute work (or just glued to their screens) can take advantage of the lounge’s complimentary Wi-Fi.
And if you’re heading straight from work or have spent enough time braving Metro Manila’s heat and humidity, A Lounge Terminal 3 also has shower facilities available for guests. Trust us: if the city has you sweating buckets, go ahead and take that shower—your seatmate will thank you for it.
