(SPOT.ph) There are plenty of ways to explore the Masungi Georeserve—whether it’s a shared or private hike through the reserve, a seasonal evening trail, stargazing in the mountains, or an early-morning trek to catch the sun rising over the mountains and clouds. But this time, the forest rangers seem intent on highlighting the reserve’s natural beauty even further, one that brings together a love for food, music, and culture—all the makings of a romantic night out in nature.

Introducing Moonlit Symphonies, Masungi Georeserve’s newest offering, designed to let visitors see the reserve in an entirely new light. Here’s what you can expect from this romantic, culture-filled night under the stars.

On November 29, the Masungi Georeserve is turning into the ultimate romantic date-night spot with Moonlit Symphonies, a one-night-only dinner under the stars. Expect an intimate evening of music, good food, and quiet reconnection with nature—set against the silhouettes of the mountains and the swell of symphonic sound guided by strings and wind instruments.

During this event, three of Masungi Georeserve's forest spaces transform into an intimate stage where music and food come together for a communal dinner with a live music experience inspired by the Rizal-Quezon-Laguna corridor.

Picture this: As the daylight fades and the city lights shine, tunes from strings and wind instruments fill the air. As the evening deepens, you are led to a pine patch where a curated dinner by Soil Bespoke Private Dining awaits. They'll serve shared-plate meals composed of four main courses, inspired by cultural cuisines and local ingredients from Rizal, Quezon, and Laguna. Food includes Kesong Puti & Tomato Confit Toast, Grilled Chicken Inasal with Dayap and Tanglad, Crab in Cotton Fruit Purée, Salt-Baked Dapa, and many more prepared and curated by Soil Bespoke Private Dining. The night ends with you at the last area—a quiet space in the forest, basking in the sounds and energies of the forest.

It goes without saying that this activity isn't your usual trek across the Masungi Georeserve. Yes, you will be moving through different parts of the reserve, but it'll be a gentle journey through the hills. It's by no means an invitation to wear heels, but at least you can rest assured that you won't be sweating bullets at the table.

As of writing, slots to Moonlit Symphonies are already full. But don't worry, this is only the first installment of the activity. Moonlit Symphonies will evolve through rotating editions that showcase different dining rooms, chefs, and musical interpretations.

This run of Moonlit Symphonies is happening on November 29, with the activity starting at 4 p.m., lasting up to 8 p.m. Slots are booked on a first-come, first-served basis by filling out an online form. Booking is open only until November 24—or until slots run out (fingers crossed they extend this). The rate is P4,800 per guest, inclusive of the evening’s meal and performances.
