Here's a date idea that's exactly that (and more): Masungi Georeserve is bringing back its crowd-favorite Moonlit Symphonies, an intimate evening of music, good food, and quiet reconnection with nature. Whether you're already prepping to surprise your situationship—er, S.O., with something sweet for February or are in the mood for a platonic or solo night out, consider adding this night under the stars to your plans next month.

Moonlit Symphonies is just one of the many ways to explore the Masungi Georeserve, but it's arguably the most dramatic and romantic one yet. Set against the silhouettes of the mountains, guests will flow through sections of the nature reserve, guided along woody paths and through clearings by the symphonic tunes of a string and wind quartet, all culminating in a communal dinner inspired by the food culture of the Rizal–Quezon–Laguna corridor and an intimate performance of classical and contemporary pieces told through the chirps of wind instruments and resonant plucks of string.

During Moonlit Symphonies, exploring the Masungi Georeserve becomes less about adventure and a bit more about quiet reflection. Three of Masungi Georeserve's forest spaces transform into an intimate stage where music and food come together for an experience designed to help you reconnect with nature through music, presence, and shared culture.

You'll be led around the gentle slopes of Masungi Georeserve, where the notes will be your guide. Soon, you'll find yourself in a pine patch, where a curated dinner by Trining’s Kitchen Stories awaits, inspired by memories of home and Filipino culinary nostalgia.

The night ends in a quiet space in the forest, basking in its sounds and energies.

This run of Moonlit Symphonies will be on January 31, February 1, February 14, February 17, February 21, and February 28, from 4 p.m., lasting up to 8 p.m. Slots are booked on a first-come, first-served basis by filling out an online form.

The rate is P4,800 per guest, inclusive of welcome drinks and light bites at sunset, a guided introduction to the Masungi Georeserve, and the evening's dinner and live performances.
