(SPOT.ph) Stamp collectors and museum-goers, rejoice! If you’ve been keeping tabs on how to get the National Museum of the Philippines Passport, we’re happy to report it’s finally back, months after its launch back in May. It’s one more reason to make those museum dates and cultural hangouts happen.

Excited? Here’s what we know about it so far.

What you need to know about the National Museum of the Philippines passport

First, what exactly is the NMP Passport, and why should you get one? Whether you’re an avid museum-goer, a long-time museum passport collector (you likely already have the Quezon City Explorer Passport), or you just want to join the stamp-collecting culture, this passport is another activity you can do during your visits to National Museums across the country.

You earn a stamp when you visit the museums in the NMP Central Complex, as well as the regional components like the recently opened National Museum of the Philippines - Baler in Aurora. Simply present your NMP Passport at the registration desk, and they will stamp the designated page for you. Each museum has a unique stamp design to collect, so with 22 National Museums across the country, you’re in for an exciting stamp-hunting adventure.

Sure, you can also ask to have your own notebooks or journals stamped. But the NMP Passport also comes with some trivia, prompts, and additional information about each museum and region to help you remember your visit better. It also takes the guesswork out of where to find the other National Museums across the country so you can plan where to head next.

With the NMP passport, you have a fun, physical record of your visits to the National Museums around the Philippines. That’s a worthwhile addition to your bucket list and travel keepsakes, if you ask us!
