Here’s your chance to know the secrets that lie within the UPD campus.

(SPOT.ph) Every campus has its own share of urban legends, ghost stories, and rumors of haunted spaces. It’s no surprise that the University of the Philippines Diliman is no exception, given its sheer size, old buildings, and decades of history. The thicket of trees surrounding it also gives off an eerie vibe once dusk sets in and gives way to the night.
Turns out that sundown is one of the best times to learn more about the dark side of UP Diliman, as the UP Office of Alumni Relations just announced its own night tour on campus. Aptly called After Dark: kaDILIMAN, the immersive storytelling tour takes place this November and is exclusively for UP Diliman alumni, students, and community members.
Curious? Here’s what you need to know.

Beyond its rich history and academic prestige, the UP Diliman campus also holds its own collection of written and whispered stories passed down through generations. You may already know some of these if you’re a student, an alumnus, or part of the community. But with a campus as massive as UPD, you never know what other dark secrets lie hidden within its walls—and this tour sets out to reveal them.
On November 6, Benjamin Canapi of WanderManila will be leading the After Dark: kaDILIMAN night tour to uncover these stories. From urban legends surrounding the campus, Martial Law memories that shape its history, to ghost stories that haunt its spaces, the tour will bring the darker side of UP Diliman to light.

The best part? It’s free for UP alumni, UP students, members of the UP community, and colleagues or family members of UP alumni. As of writing, the tour is exclusive to these groups, so if you have a family member or colleague who is an alumnus/alumna, you might want to start convincing them to go with you on this thrilling UP Diliman adventure.
Finally, the tour is also an invitation to share your own stories and experiences on campus. Imagine one big storytelling session where everyone contributes to the rich tapestry of narratives that make up UP Diliman's lore.
How to join After Dark: kaDILIMAN night tour
Registration for After Dark: kaDILIMAN night tour is now open, but be fast, as slots are limited. Prepare details like your student number that signifies you as a UP alumnus, student, or member of the UP community, as these are also required in the form. Participants should be at the Quezon Hall, UP Diliman by 5 p.m. on November 6. Remember to dress comfortably, wear walking shoes, and bring essentials like water bottles, snacks, umbrellas, and handheld fans, as it will be a long night exploring UPD's sprawling space.
