(SPOT.ph) Frequent flyers out of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1, take note: one of the airport’s premier waiting spots has officially packed its bags. As of October 1, A Lounge has permanently shut down its T1 branch. Now, travelers flying out of this terminal will have to explore alternative options for their pre-flight routine.
A Lounge officially ceases operations at NAIA T1
Starting October 1, travelers will have one less spot for counting down the hours until boarding time. A Lounge officially made the announcement in a Facebook post, giving travelers a bit of notice ahead of its permanent closure.
The statement added that its final day of operations was Wednesday, September 30, along with a message of gratitude: “We sincerely thank our valued guests for their continued support throughout our years of operation at NAIA Terminal 1.”

If you’re flying out of Terminal 3, however, you can still get the A Lounge experience. The announcement clarified that the lounge’s location on Level 4 in NAIA T3 will remain fully open 24/7. The pay-per-use lounge costs P2,000 for up to three hours. Children four years old and below can enter for free.

The closure of A Lounge is the latest in a wave of infrastructure updates, terminal reassignments, and modernization efforts to improve the NAIA experience. Several passenger lounges are still available in NAIA Terminal 1.
