(SPOT.ph) If you frequently book flights with Cebu Pacific Air, you’re probably familiar with its Travel Fund. For the uninitiated, it’s the airline’s virtual wallet where you can store funds to pay for flights and add-ons, from meals and baggage to seat selection for you and your travel buddies. It’s also a convenient way to receive refunds or cover booking changes without shelling out extra cash right away.

But before you redeem your balance or top up your Travel Fund, take note: Cebu Pacific recently announced a change that could affect your travel plans in the coming weeks or months. Here’s what you need to know.

What’s changing in the Cebu Pacific Travel Fund Redemption policies

Heads up: Starting November 10, 2026, Travel Fund owners must be listed as a passenger on the booking where they use their funds. Unlike before, when you could use your Travel Fund to pay for flights and add-ons for anyone, whether or not you were traveling with them, you’ll need to be included on the booking to use your Travel Fund as payment starting next month.

But what if you’ve already purchased a flight or add-ons for someone else using your Travel Fund? Cebu Pacific says bookings made before November 10 are not affected by this change. But if you decide to make a last-minute change to the same booking after November 10, the new rule will apply.

But here's a bit of good news: your existing Travel Fund remains non-expiring. Your funds will stay safe in the virtual wallet and won't reset to 0 under the new policy. However, it's still non-transferable and non-convertible to cash. Log in to your MyCebu Pacific account via the website or mobile app to check your Travel Fund details.
