ICYMI: Bambike Rentals and Tours are Now Available in the QC Memorial Circle

(SPOT.ph) The Quezon Memorial Circle is one of the Metro's last few open spaces and public parks. But this 27-hectare urban oasis is much more than just a patch of green in the metro—it’s home to cultural attractions, sports facilities, museums, gardens, and hidden gems that many visitors often overlook. If you're looking to explore this Quezon City landmark, don't worry, you don't have to walk it all on foot.

Great news: Bambike rentals and tours are now available in QC Memorial Circle. Here's what you need to know.

Visitors of the Quezon Memorial Circle now have a fun, new, and sustainable way to explore the park with QC More to Explore: Padyak with Bambike. With this new activity, you can add a leisurely ride around the park on bamboo bicycles to your next QC hangout with friends and family.

As of writing, Bambike rentals are only available on Saturdays. But we hear there are already plans to make it a mainstay in the park. In the meantime, you can also join free guided Bambike tours around the park every first and third Saturday of the month.

Only 10 participants will be accommodated, though, so you have to act fast. Here's how you can secure your slots for the tours:

1. Join the guided museum tour in the Quezon Heritage House.

2. Accomplish the visitor feedback form.

3. Follow and like the social media pages of

   • QC Tourism and Promotions

   • Quezon Heritage House

   • Bahay Modernismo

   • Tandang Sora Women's Museum

   • Bambike

If you're not able to secure a slot on the free tour, don't worry, you can still ride around the designated routes at the QC Memorial Circle on your own. Just head over to the Bambike Station at the Quezon Heritage House Social Hall between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and rent your Bambikes.

Bambike rental prices are as follows:

• QCitizen ID Holders

  • Regular Rate: Php 150/hour

  • Student Rate: Php 75/hour (present a valid physical student ID)

  • Two Seater: Php 200/hour

• Any valid ID/Student ID

  • Regular Rate: Php 170/hour

  • Student Rate: Php 100/hour (present a valid physical student ID)

  • Two Seater: Php 220/hour

Note that Bambikes can only be used within Quezon Memorial Circle during the operating hours. There's a specific bike route you can take, and you can only deviate from it if you're a part of a tour. Make sure to stay within the designated path for your own safety.
