Good News: Bacha Coffee Is Opening a Store in This Mall

(SPOT.ph) With the announcement of Singapore's TWG Tea reentering the Philippines, it seems our caffeine habits will be getting more distinctly luxurious options—and conveniently, at the very same mall and floor, no less.

We're getting even more of Bacha Coffee, the luxury Moroccan coffee brand that's sweeping through cups as we speak. We don't have to go without, seeing as they're opening at Greenbelt 3 and SM Mall of Asia.

It seems the Marrakech marvel is opening an even bigger store in MOA. The shopping mall recently teased on social media that the brand will be "brewing soon."

What has been kept completely under wraps is whether it will take the form of a boutique-style kiosk or finally become the Philippines’ first full-service Bacha Coffee café. Naturally, we’re crossing our fingers for the latter because the boarded-up space looks huge enough—but honestly, whatever format it takes and however big the store turns out to be, we’re always down for a cup of signature coffee.

Over the years, Bacha Coffee has established itself as a symbol of luxury and refinement, so much so that some have likened it to the Hermès of the coffee world. From its meticulously sourced 100% Arabica coffee beans to its exquisite attention to detail and opulent presentation (including its beautifully designed takeaway cups and stylish drink carriers), Bacha Coffee has elevated coffee drinking into an experience defined by sophistication and understated luxury.

For first-timers, the Bacha Coffee signature to try is the 1910 Coffee, which has a medium roast and fruity notes. And to manage your and your wallet's expectations, prices start at USD 13.50, or around P830, for 100 grams of whole beans (according to the official website). Over at Bacha Coffee's Greenbelt kiosk, a cup of hot or iced coffee costs P399, complete with a coffee tray, cream, and sugar stick.
