Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 4—officially called Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 4: Oh Sh*t! It’s Live Sa Cheter!—brings its chaotic, sharp-witted commentary to the stage. It was written by Chris Martinez and will be directed by Maribel Legarda.

Its synopsis reads, "PETA unveils its newest satire, a theatrical adaptation of Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank, as a chaotic, hilarious meta-comedy about ego, art, and the messy reality of making Philippine theater today." So, if you've ever wondered what really goes on behind the curtain of your favorite theater shows and production houses, then this is the show to watch

It’s brought to the Metro Manila stage by the YPC Stage, the professional touring arm of the Binan Youth Performance Council, after a community theater run in 2025.

Hershey Mae (Jury Sanchez) sneaks into her school’s chemistry lab to confront her teacher, Sir Banakon (Ross Pesigan), after he rejects her controversial research paper. As her study sparks chaos among their classmates, the two clash over its claims—and whether love and truth can really be measured by science.




Ilihan at Kalingaw: Ang Lihim na Istorya ng mga Buringkantada


Set in a mythical realm, Ilihan (Gab Pangilinan), the poet-historian of the Buringkantada tribe, is tasked with preserving the stories deemed worthy of remembrance. But when the elders discover her secret love poems for Kalingaw (Euden Moje), a man she’s forbidden to love, Ilihan must challenge the tribe’s ideas about love, history, and whose stories deserve to be remembered.

France (Phi Palmos) and Noel (Kokoy de Santos) have been secretly together since college, with their closest friend, Kris (Loudette Barias), as witness, third wheel, and confidante all in one. But when one of them chooses to follow society’s expectations of masculinity and convention, what happens to their love now?

Summer and Smoke, a two-part, 13-scene play by Tennessee Williams, gets a Filipino reimagining in El Fuego del Alma. Led by playwright Eljay Castro Deldoc and directed by Porvenir artistic director Mark Mirando, this production follows Alma Ortega, a high-strung, unmarried minister’s daughter, and the spiritual romance that nearly blossoms between her and Juanito, a young doctor who grew up next door.

Nour Hooshmand, Hariette Mozelle, and Opaline Santos share the lead role of Alma Ortega, while Sandino Martin and Vincent Pajara alternate as her lover, Juanito. The production also features Madeleine Nicolas, Rolando Inocencio, Sheryll Ceasico, JP Lopez, Janna Cortes, Ingrid Joyce, Johnny Maglinao, and Tristan Bite.

In Tarlac’s famous rage booth, two strangers find themselves trading stories of heartbreak and romantic disappointment.

Duncan Macmillan’s People, Places & Things gets a two-night staged reading courtesy of The Sandbox Collective. The play follows Emma, a struggling actress who enters rehab and is forced to confront the chaotic reality of her addiction.

The production also marks Bella Padilla’s theatrical debut, as she alternates with Philippine Arts, Film and Television Awards (PAFTA) 2026 Best Supporting Actress Gaby Padilla in the role of Emma.

They are joined by Jake Cuenca as Mark, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo as the Doctor, Therapist, and Mom, and Audie Gemora as Paul and Dad.

Guelan Varela-Luarca’s Mga Binago ng Araw takes audiences back to one barkada’s summer in 2005—not to romanticize the past, but to explore why certain memories stay with us and shape who we become.

Written as a play with music, the story follows Jomay, Nia, Ferdie, Rage, Jill, and Trisha, a group of teenagers navigating pop-punk bands, futsal games, Mortal Kombat, school summers, first loves, awkward silences, family wounds, and friendships that feel permanent when you’re young enough to believe they will last forever. Set against the textures of early-2000s youth culture—from CDs and magazines to mall rituals and afternoons spent at that one friend’s house—the play with music is a nostalgic love letter to growing up.

The production stars Jam Binay (Spring Awakening, Next to Normal), Zoë de Ocampo (Trophy Boys, Patintero sa Ayala Avenue), Vino Mabalot (Quomodo Desolata Es?, Next to Normal), Maliana Beran, Francesca Dela Cruz, and Rafael Jimenez.

The Playbook Club is bringing back its all-female production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, following its original staging in 2023.

The beloved Shakespearean romantic comedy follows four young lovers and a group of bumbling mechanicals who find themselves caught in the magical world of fairies in an enchanted forest. Expect mistaken identities, meddling fairies, and plenty of romantic chaos as the play explores love, illusion, and the unpredictable nature of desire.

The play features a mix of new and returning cast members, including Dippy Arceo as Puck/Philostrate, Nikki Bengzon as Oberon/Theseus, Barbara Jance as Peter Quince/Egeus, and Philomena Yap as Bottom, alongside newcomer Mijon Cortez as Titania/Hippolyta.

The Lovers include Giselle Giorgia as Lysander/Starveling the Tailor, Chez Cuenca as Helena/Snob the Joiner, Teia Contreras as Hermia/Flute the Bellows-Mender, and newcomer Leanne Mamonong as Demetrius/Snout the Tinker.

Infinite Cantina brings back BJ Crisostomo's original production, Saglit Lang, for a limited rerun this August, with acclaimed playwright, director, filmmaker, and educator Anton Juan at the helm.

The play follows a child fleeing a violent reality who finds refuge inside an abandoned theater. There, a mysterious Maestro introduces the child to the world of performance, revealing how theater can reflect life’s deepest wounds while offering a glimmer of hope.

It stars Crisostomo and Rico del Rosario alternating as the Child and Ron Capinding, who reprises his role as the Maestro.

Where: REP Eastwood Theater

Get a dose of fairy-tale magic with Cinderella, A Tale of the Glass Slipper, courtesy of Repertory Philippines' REP’s Theater for Young Audiences (RTYA).

Directed by Joy Virata and Cara Barredo, the musical follows our beloved heroine as she survives a hilariously wicked stepmother and outrageous stepsisters, all while dreaming of a night at the royal ball. With help from her loyal rat bestie Putterman and a sparkling Fairy Godmother, Cinderella’s journey is filled with charm, comedy, and a few magical twists—ultimately reminding us that sometimes, all it takes is one brave first step.

The Philippine Ballet Theatre (PBT) is set to revive Andres KKK, a celebrated dance production centered on revolutionary hero Andres Bonifacio. Mathew Davo and Dominador Delmo will alternate in the title role, while Jessa Tangalin and Sophia Tiangco will portray Bonifacio’s wife, Gregoria de Jesus.

With a libretto by Lilia Quindoza Santiago and an original score by Jesse Lucas, Andres KKK is one of dance luminary Gener Caringal’s enduring masterpieces. It is also among PBT’s most widely toured productions and has become a rite of passage for its dancers. The revival hopes to cultivate nationalism, empower the common Filipino, and awaken the spirit of what it means to be a nation.

Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa are embarking on a world tour and Manila is on the map. Mamamoo's 4WARD Tour, named after their special single of the same name, will take place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum which they've performed in before. Moomoos are sure to relive the memories and make new ones as the girls come together one more time after pursuing their own sounds and solo careers. "4 Flowers" is set to have its own moment, but of course we're also looking forward to the old hits like "Mr. Ambiguous", "Piano Man", and "Um Oh Ah Yeh" that attracted so many fans at the beginning of their time as a group. Packing their entire discography into one show is impossible, but fans will be happy to know they're playing favorites like "Wherever You Are", "Brother," "High Hopes," and "All I Want". South Korean singer-songwriter LeeHi is taking on Manila for the Lee Hi & 808 Recordings World Tour 2026. Special guests Dok2 and Rolldice are also coming over to make the show even more special, as this is LeeHi’s first major tour after establishing her own label with long-time partner Dok2. Collab tracks “You & Me” are high on the list of songs to be performed, along with gam favorites like “H.S.K.T”, “BREATHE”, “MY LOVE”, and “ONLY.”

South korean alternative pop-rock band The Rose is back at the SM Mall of Asia Arena this month to serenade Filipino fans. Vocalist Kim Woosung, keyboardist-guitarist Park Dojoon, drummer Lee Hajoon, and bassist Lee Taegyeom are no strangers to Manila, having performed here in the past, and we know Filipino Black Roses are happy to know they're returing for their Rosetopia tour. Zild, Blaster, Badjao, and Unique are headed for the last stop of their tour over at the City of Pines. A IV of Spades album and tour sounded entirely delusional two years ago, but life can surprise you in the best ways, like with an unexpected comeback and an actual album and tour. The boys are sticking together, but you definitely don't want to miss their first ever tour after reuniting. Kyle Patrick, Joe Guese, Ethan Mentzer from Boston-founded American rock band The Click Five is coming back to Manila for their For Lovers Tour this month.
