Where: REP Eastwood Theater

Adapted for the stage with music and lyrics by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman, this RTYA production brings together all the colorful characters from Lewis Carroll’s cherished books, including the ever-curious Alice, the eccentric Mad Hatter, the frantic White Rabbit, and the domineering Queen of Hearts.

Alice in Wonderland will be headlined by Reese De La Vega Iso, Justine Narciso, and Cheska Quimno as Alice; Cara Barredo, Pinky Marquez, and Mayen Bustamante-Cadd as the Queen of Hearts; Hans Eckstein and Gerhard Krysstopher as the Mad Hatter, and Steven Hotchkiss and Gabo Tiongson as the White Rabbit. It will be co-directed by Cara Barredo and Repertory Philippines founder and artistic director, Joy Virata.

Four plays, four consecutive Sundays—united under a single theme. Now in its sixth season, the Company of Actors in Streamlined Theatre (CAST PH) returns with its annual staged readings, this year anchored on RE-ORIENT: Narratives from Asian Voices.

Across four weeks, the selected plays explore what it means to be Asian in an increasingly complex global landscape. Starring some of the country's best thespians like Dolly de Leon, Kakki Teodoro, Jenny Jamora, Jillian Ita-as, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante, Mayen Bustamante-Cadd, among others, expect sharp, thoughtful takes on cultural assimilation, love for country, unquestioning familial obedience, and the act of reclaiming Eastern narratives, all tackled with intelligence, humanity, and a lot of humor.

For February, the last play under CAST PH's RE-ORIENT: Narratives from Asian Voices staged readings will run on February 1.

As is tradition, play titles will not be revealed, but here's the schedule of performers and writers on deck this week:

February 1: Play #4 will be directed by Caisa Borromeo.
The cast features Jillian Ita-as, Kakki Teodoro, George Schulze, Yanah Laurel, Alfredo Reyes, and Miren Alvarez-Fabregas.

Les Misérables is back, not in its usual musical staging but as the Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular, happening at The Theatre at Solaire from January 20 to February 15, 2026.

Unlike the usual full-production stagings, Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular is a hybrid production designed for larger venues and fitted with enhanced set and lighting designs similar to a concert experience. It still keeps the original story and music intact, just packaged with a bit of extra pomp and flair. 

This Les Mis World Tour—originally titled as Les Misérables: Arena Spectacular—reimagines and expands the Les Misérables: The Staged Concert by bringing with it a slew of over 100 international and Filipino talent, performing Boublil and Schönberg’s score and iconic songs, including I Dreamed a Dream, On My Own, One Day More, and more.

Rewind to the 80s, because the iconic Viva Films teen flick from 1984 is getting its own stage musical adaptation.

Bagets is about the lives and loves, families and friendships, adventures and misadventures of five young boys during their senior year in high school. There’s boy next door Adie, "overstaying" high schooler Tonton, geeky Gilbert, martial arts buff Toffee, and rich guy Arnel.

Working on Bagets are PETA stalwarts — director Maribel Legarda (Rak of Aegis, Care Divas), playwright Jmee Katanyag (Maria Clara at Ibarra), and musical director Vince Lim (Walang Aray). It stars two sets of rotating cast members featuring Noel Comia Jr. and Tomas Rodriguez as Gilbert, Milo Cruz and Migo Valid as Tonton, Ethan David and KD Estrada as Arnel, Jeff Moses and Sam Shoaf as Topee, and Mico Hendrix Chua and Andres Muhlach as Adie.

Quomodo Desolata Es? Isang Dalamhati is a reimagined take and return to the stage of Nick Joaquin’s Classic Play "A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino." This revisit was written by Jerry Respeto and Guelan Varela-Luarca, who also serves as the director.

Set in 1941 pre-World War II Intramuros, Quomodo Desolata Es? Isang Dalamhati follows sisters Paula and Candida Marasigan as they deal with the slow unraveling of their once-privileged lives. With their fortunes fading and their father, Don Lorenzo—a once-celebrated painter—retreating into isolation, the sisters are left to confront grief, change, and the looming shadow of war.

The show stars Gab Pangilinan as Paula Marasigan and Delphine Buencamino as Candida Marasigan, with Omar Uddin, Vino Mabato, John Sanchez, and Brian Sy.

Shakespeare in the Park is a beloved open-air theater festival concept featuring productions of the Bard's works. For this run, the Company of Actors in Streamlined Theater (CAST PH) brings Twelfth Night to life—Shakespeare’s comedy of love, confusion, and mistaken identities, staged under the open sky, free, for the theater-loving public.

Spring Awakening is a musical that explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood, set to an electrifying contemporary and alternative rock score.

Set in late 19th-century Germany, the musical follows a group of teens trying to make sense of their sexuality, the nature of desires, and all the other grunge of growing up. But at a time when conversations about the birds and the bees are all but taboo, finding the answers is easier said than done.

Playing the leads for Spring Awakening are Alex Diaz and Nacho Tambunting, Sheena Belarmino, Omar Uddin, Nic Chien, among others.

Catch National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab as he returns to the stage for the next chapter of the MaestroClass Concert Series: Love Letters—a Valentine’s concert that pays tribute to the timeless love songs of George Canseco, Jose Mari Chan, and Willy Cruz.

Leading the homage to these OPM greats are Basil Valdez, Celeste Legaspi, and Ogie Alcasid, who will perform alongside Cayabyab himself for a night of classic Filipino romance set to music.

From the folks behind Anino Sa Likod Ng Buwan—IdeaFirst Live!—comes another play strictly for mature audiences. About Us But Not About Us is the stage adaptation of the award-winning 2023 Jun Robles Lana film of the same title. This intense psychological drama zeroes in on a tense, emotionally loaded lunch between Eric, a literature professor, and Lancelot, his student, months after the suicide of Eric’s partner, Marcus. What begins as a seemingly casual meet-up slowly unravels into a web of dark secrets and buried lies, revealing the complicated—and often painful—history between the three men. As their conversation unfolds, the play digs into guilt, ambition, and identity, drawing the audience deeper into the chilling truth behind Marcus’s death.

It stars Romnick Sarmenta, Elijah Canlas, Epy Quizon, Andoy Ranay, Herbie Go, Geraldine Villamil, Jack Denzel Gaza, Noel Rayos, and Jao Catarus, and is directed by Tuxqs Rutaquio.

Canadian indie band Men I Trust is coming to Manila for a one-night-only show at The Filinvest Tent this February. Band members Emmanuelle Proulx, Jessy Caron, and Dragos Chiriac self-release their music, which is influenced by dream pop and indie elements. If you're new to the band, you definitely want to "Show Me How", "Numb", and "Lauren" to your rotation. Local band Fitterkarma of "Kanibalismo" virality will also be performing as a special guest!

English singer-songwriter Samm Henshaw is bringing his unique R&B sound to Manila for his It Could Be Worse Tour. Known for being a supporting act for stars like James Bay, Tori Kelly, Chance the Rapper, and Allen Stone, Henshaw is taking the time to perform for Filipino fans with his own show.

Having rose to fame thanks to Drake collab "Chicago Freestyle", it was only a matter of time before American R&B singer-songwriter Giveon would strike big with hits like "Heartbreaker Anniversary" and "Peaches" with Justin Bieber and Daniel Caesar. He's headed for Manila this February for Dear Beloved, The Tour, which features songs from his 2025 album named Beloved.

Rounds one and two sold out so quick, the Sexbomb Girls had to give us a Rawnd 3, a Rawnd 4, and even a whopping Rawnd 5 just so everyone can GET, GET AW! Husband and wife duo TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan are so in-demand, they're having not one, not two, not event just three, but four show dates at the Smart Araneta Coliseum for their In Between concert. American rock band Underoath is coming to Manila this February to take on the Skydome stage, bringing their signature metal sound to Filipino fans. New to the band? Consider giving "A Boy Brushed Red Living In Black And White", "Writing On The Walls", and "Reinventing Your Exit" a play.

Filipinos are no stranger to December Avenue and their songs taking over the airwaves, TikTok edits, and Spotify playlists. Band members Zel Bautista, Jem Manuel, Jet Danao, and Gelo Cruz are taking on the Smart Araneta Coliseum stage for their concert titled For The Ones We Love right on Valentine's Day and you don't want to miss it. This is your chance to hear "Sa Ngalang Ng Pag-Ibig", "Bulong", "Saksi Ang Langit", and our personal favorite "King 'Di Rin Lang Ikaw" live.

South Korean boy group AHOF is coming back to Manila, this time to take over Cebu with their AHOF For Love fan meeting. Members Steven, Jeongwoo, Woongki, Shuaibo, Han, JL, Juwon, Chih En, and Daisuke always put on a good show, and if you haven't witnessed their performances and killer vocals live, now's your chance, especially if you live in Cebu.

Crooner Josh Groban might be known for Christmas hits like "The First Noel", "O Holy Night", and "Little Drummer Boy", but he also has beautiful renditions of "You Raise Me Up" and "Pure Imagination". If you've had him on repeat during the holidays and beyond and have been meaning to catch him live, now's your chance because he's coming to Manila in February for his Gems World Tour. As if that isn't enough, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez and Concert King Martin Nievera are also taking the stage as his special guests!

Robin Daniel Skinner, or better known as Cavetown, is headed for Manila for his Running With Scissors Tour at the Sky Dome in SM City North EDSA. The YouTuber has since evolved to become a full-fledged artist that leans heavy towards indie rock and bedroom pop, with sincerity and vulnerability shining in his work. It's his first time performing in Manila, and we can't wait for fans to finally catch him live.

Where: Smart Araneta Coliseum

Filipino artist Maki of "Dilaw" and "Bughaw" fame is taking his fans on another ride over the rainbow with Kolorcoaster One More Ride. His concert, which is named after his 2024 album, is a follow-up to his highly successful show from 2025, and promises fans the same great performances this year. If you missed the chance to catch him live last year, you definitely have to watch him this year!

American band The Calling is coming to Manila this February to rock Metrotent. Band members Alex Band, Daniel Damico, and Dom Liberati are ready to get the hearts of Filipino fans pumping with the band's classic hits like "Wherever You Will Go", "Stigmatized", and "Our Lives".

Acting might be Kim Sejeong's main gig right now, but real fans will never forget her idol days in IOI and Gugudan. The triple threat is coming to Manila for her Tenth Letter fan concert, where she'll delight fans with special performances and activities. Unlike concerts where it's purely performances of an artist's discography, you can expect more variety at a fanmeet. Fingers crossed she performs songs from her idol days and maybe even surprise with a few unexpected covers!

EXO alum and soloist Chen is back in Manila once more, this time at the FYM Hall, EVM Convention, to serenade Filipino fans in 2026 for his Arcadia Concert Tour. Tickets are not available yet, but we'll update you ASAP once more details are out! It's Chen, so you can expect killer vocal performances and plenty of moments shared with fans.
