(SPOT.ph) Brands are everywhere—on your screen, in your pantry, on the card you tap at checkout. Some we swear by, others we side-eye after one too many bad experiences, but there are those who are really good at what they do, at least according to this list of the top 50 brands in the Philippines for 2025.
Together, these household names have reached $31.8 billion, according to the latest report by Brand Finance. This year’s ranking expands from 30 to 50 brands, giving a better picture of which companies are performing best in the country. If you're looking for stability in your career, these companies might be good options to send your resume to.
Banking continues to dominate the list, with BDO Unibank leading 11 other financial
institutions. BPI made a significant leap to third place after a 53% increase in value, while Metrobank and the Land Bank of the Philippines also reported strong double-digit growth.
On the consumer side, Jollibee held on to second place with
a value of $2.5 billion, proving that Chickenjoy still holds a special place in
Filipino hearts (and stomachs). Red Horse entered the rankings for the first
time at fourth, with a brand value of $1.9 billion, making it not only the
strongest-performing beverage brand but also one of the year’s top new
entrants.
SM Supermalls received the highest Brand Strength Index
(BSI) rating with a 95 out of 100 score, which means that while it might not be the most valuable in terms of money, it's the most recognizable brand on the list. With one in every major city—and with locations just a few blocks apart—it's not hard to see why.
Cebu Pacific also stood out as the fastest-growing brand of
2025, with its value surging 86% to $386 million, following strong business
recovery after the pandemic. Other companies highlighted by Brand Finance as
"ones to watch" include Chowking and UnionBank, both of which are on upward trajectories in terms of brand strength, value, or both.
