29 Philippine Companies Make It to TIME’s Best Companies in APAC

(SPOT.ph) Want to work for one of the best companies in Asia-Pacific? Start here. Twenty-nine Philippine companies have landed a spot on TIME's 500 Best Companies of 2025 in the region.

TIME’s ranking evaluates businesses based on employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainability transparency, in collaboration with market research firm Statistica.

Among the local companies that made the list, Ayala Corporation ranked the highest at 46th place. The Philippines' oldest conglomerate was recognized for its financial resilience and market leadership in operations across banking, telecommunications, real estate, and infrastructure.

Following behind Ayala Corporation are other big players San Miguel Corporation (85th), Security Bank Corporation (88th), SM Investments Corporation (109th),  BDO Unibank Inc. (112th), and Jollibee Foods Corporation (116th).

The Philippine banking sector had a strong presence on the list, with UnionBank, Metrobank, China Bank, and Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) also securing spots. Impressively, Security Bank Corporation stood out for ranking 2nd in employee satisfaction out of 500 companies on the list.

Retailers and food companies were also well represented, with Robinsons Retail Holdings, Puregold, Universal Robina Corporation, and Max’s Group earning a place on the list. As for real estate, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Filinvest Development Corporation, and Megaworld Corporation made the cut.

"While much of the world was mired in geopolitical uncertainty during 2024, businesses across the Asia-Pacific enjoyed an upbeat year," TIME noted. "Whether 2025 proves a similarly positive year with returning U.S. President Donald Trump threatening a raft of trade tariffs is a question that will preoccupy C-Suites across the region."
